Thanks for your video! I bought this board for my home server, a E5-2697 V3, and somehow managed 4x 32GB 2133mhz ECC DIMM's. I had to use the -80mv P-State boost mod as -100mv resulted in constant issues. I recommend this board, for sure!

I was using adapter cables to use add in cards beyond what the ASRock B450m Pro4 is capable of, and was causing numerous IRQ issues. Now I'm using this board, with the Xeon CPU, and twice as much RAM as before, and it's taken every huge workload I've placed on it, in stride! @@Miyconst This Z10 board i use for a 24h daily to host virtual machines and the ES E5-2630L V3 have relative low idle power consumption which is a critial thing with other server boards. Actual a Ryzen 3300X for 160€ and B450 for 60€, and upgrade to 5800X is much more effective. But the decision for the virtualization host was 4 years ago.

Thank you for keeping x99 platform on topic. I have a zx_99ev3v1.31 Atermiter motherboard for almost a year and maybe I'm luck to not have any issue. I only complain about the fixed value for the motherboard temperature and the lack of pwm modulation of the fans other than the cpu fan. I'm using it with 2620v3 and Rx 570. Has anyone tried Ultimate Patch Tool on this motherboard?

Xeon E5-2660 V3 is a bit hard for X99-8M-F, but if you don't torture the VRM zone and make sure to cool it properly you should be fine.

Xeon E5 V4 are not compatible with Turbo Boost Unlock hack, the best you can do is to use BIOS with unlocked RAM timings.

If you can afford it - upgrade motherboard and CPU. For example get i5-10400F, i3-12100F, i3-10100F. For i7-5820k you need a motherboard with real X99 chipset, good VRM, and good BIOS, otherwise overclocking is impossible. It limits your options to Huananzhi X99-F8 and Machinist X99-K9. X99-K9 has bad VRM though and requires good cooling.

I don't know because I have not tested the D3 version, but I assume that they are identical, D4 uses DDR4 memory and D3 uses DDR3 memory. Also, as far as I know, the motherboard is compatible with Huananzhi X99-BD3/BD4 BIOS.

Are there really cheap motherboards that supports Crossfire, without a Crossfire Bridge? I have 2 old Radeon HD 4350 and would like to use them. Hello, I have a Huananzhi X99 F8 bought 1 week ago and when I use bios from MI899 it shows F9 error and beeps 4 times on the startup, then enters to bios settings and says “ROM Image is not loaded” “ROM Image update denied” on a section called “Recovery”. When I click “Save changes and exit” it goes to Windows, but it happens on every boot. Is this because the board is new and it has a different bios? No, no, and no. Any E5-26XX can't be overclocked with the clock multiplier at all.

If I were starting out I would go for the E5-2699V3 as best bang for the buck. I have an E5 2690 V2, and my only upgrade path is to go dual processor, with new MOBO, CPU, and cooler. $300. A 2699V3 is just over $200, add $100 for a MOBO, and you are at a slightly slower Passmark score, but less power consumption, and lower system complexity. But you also don't get to tell your friends you are running dual server processors.

Chugs away and never gets hot. 20 processors running at 100%, and the fan hardly even speeds up. Noctua. I have a gaming PC with an RTX 2060, and i7 10700K and the thing gets hot, the fans all go wild, and it sounds like it is going to take off. It is faster, but I don't care about that. Oh. It also cost $1,700 vs my home made one. That was $600.

It is just a machine that I built to rip a large number of Blu Rays and DVD's onto hard disc after one of my old disc drives died, and I lost a few hundred movies from my personal collection. Very annoying. I was using a 12 year old Phenom 4, which is still totally fine. Just a bit slow. I don't even think I have turned my gaming PC on since January.

It's a hard question, I would say it depends on the RAM speed and timings, if you manage to O.C. Ryzen & RAM it will be better, but if you use the cheapest DDR4 with horrible timings - Xeon is better.

Yes, I have seen this issue with many other Chinese X99 motherboards. The older GPUs don't go above PCI-E 1.1, and unfortunately I didn't find a solution for the problem. Some people say that it helps to reboot the computer. You can also try BIOS from Huananzhi X99-BD4.

Hello, I have built a PC with this board (JGINYUE X99 TITANIUM D4) with E5 2670 v3, I can't get the video card to work, when I turn it on it starts to work but after a few seconds it turns off, I tried with the gtx 1070 and also with the gtx 1050ti with both the same thing happens, but with the gt 610 it works, but this card is not useful for the software that I want to use. What happens if you install GT 610 and GTX 1070? What is your PSU? Also, some say that you can try BIOS from Huananzhi X99-BD4, but do that only if you have a programmer to unbrick the motherboard.

Tengo esta misma placa madre, y tengo un xeon E5 2650 v3, hice el proceso de turbo bost con 50-50-50, loa fps subió si, pero el problema que tengo es que al jugar o hacer mas actividades después de una hora aproximadamente, todo se congela y se pone pantalla azul o caso contrario tengo que reiniciar forzosamente, porque sucede esto no entiendo, tuve que restablecer la placa como default y estoy de Nuevo instalando todo ya que ni reconoce el grub 😢

Cant turbo unlock x79, only x99. X79 have some auto turbo boost but it doesnt get full boost for all cores.

Non working and disabled are different things. When IME is properly disabled or removed from the BIOS I don't count it as a minus, but when it is broken and causes issues - it's an annoying minus.

@@Miyconstoh, I misinterpreted it. But ime is actually a horrible piece of firmware that runs a custom version of Minix that literally monitors network usage, ram usage, gets encryption keys, and does things it shouldn't. It's literally spyware at the hardware level.

And why do you think that an LGA 2011-3 motherboard is the right one for E5-2689? These two use physically different CPU socket. E5-2689 - LGA 2011 socket, which is not the same as LGA 2011-3.

Could we unsolder and clip or bend the PCIe power pins out of the motherboard and wire them directly to a power supply to bypass the MOBO VRMs? This would reduce the strain on the mobos. Removing 75 watts from the onboard VRM would probably be a great improvement in reliability and power quality delivered to the GPU. Only problem would be regulating to 75 watts through the bypass?
