Love everything I'm hearing about the Miyoo Mini, this was a fantastic video! Looking forward to receiving my own soon. Sad to hear everyone saying how cramped it can get! Hoping one day we'll get something a little more decently sized whilst being very pocket-able, something the size of a phone, whilst maintaining this type of form factor would be super nice.

I love my RG300x for this reason, I have the MIYOO mini too, love it! I just wish I could time travel and tell my 13 year old self about what to look forward too!!!!

I have one the way, I am worried about the screen size(I am older and use glasses) but, the price is right and it plays most retro systems I am interested in. It looks like Onion is a day one install once I get it. Should have it later this week...

Thank you for this great tutorial. I have some few questions though, does Onion OS comes with games? Where did you get those games after you use the scraper? Are they from the stock SD card? Sorry for the newb questions.

No worries. There are games on the stock SD card but Onion OS does not come with games. They’re from my own rom collection.

hello. i need some help. what if i dont want to update to onion os. i would like to keep the old os but use a new sd card. is it as simple as coppying over everything to a new card? do i have to reinstall anything other then formating the new sd card to fat 32? please help. i dont really like onion os.

Everything went well with onion except the Atari 2600 and Atari 7800 games dont load on the miyoo the console says empty but the new formatted sd card has all the Atari roms

That was Tengen Tetris for NES, the Atari developed Tetris which was produced under dubious circumstances, where the actual license holder was only permitted to develop Tetris for Western PCs, and they made it for the NES and played dumb. Tengen Tetris carts are about $250 loose today.

@@TeamRetrogue I ordered the miyoo mini today from Amazon hopefully 🙏 it is v2 Was torn on color wanted the black one but it costed more so settled on the retro

Question about the SNES audio. Is the bad audio from the speakers the same if you use the headphone jack earphones instead?

I haven't tried but I'm hearing no. It's mostly a speaker issue.
