忘言 the 1st prize winner deserved it. She played with confidence and amazing tonal projection. This Japanese girl lacks something in her playing but she’s amazing as well.

⁠@@liomatsu1931 i think miyu didn’t have the confident playing like the 1st prize winner maria dueñas, the first prize winner, had a much more aggressive style of playing the violin, but it’s also full of passion, plus her body movements and facial expressions clearly shows that she’s using lots of emotion to play, so her aura is larger and full of confidence.
