Platform CROCS! I was so obsessed with their Balenciaga that almost bough a $600 pair... Thankfully I found Cape Robin's cheap version and I was in heaven. Also Crocs made the BAE platform clogs and I was instantly in love with them too. I am a 100% platform addict and being able to go to the shore with platforms is great!

There are such things as "beginner" platforms. How about creepers? They have plats 2-3 inches tall, and not too much height on the heel. Anything with a fairly flat footbed will work to start with, don't put so much weight on the ball of the foot at first. (Jan Griffiths).

I really liked my Killstar shoes, actually over my Demonia in terms of them being more functional and comfortable. The demonia are a wedge heel type and they look SICK but after 4-5 hours my feet are dead. The Killstars, not heeled like that, feel like normal shoes!

Thats so true! I dont know what kinda technology killstar uses, but i once tried on some buckled shoes they felt so good, lightweight and as if they were moving with my foot as i walk🤯

Killstar shoes have a fairly flat footbed---the foot is kept in a more natural position (flat) than having most of the weight on the ball of the foot. I love my Killstar shoes too,, even though I only have 2 pairs at the moment. (Jan Griffiths).

It's the opposite for me 😅 my killstar boots have a wedged heel and my demonias keep my feet flat. Obviously depends on the style you buy from either company. But, the wedged platform KILLS my toes after walking for awhile 😂

I personally really recommend doc martens platforms for a first type of platform boots since their platforms arent that big and doc martens will last you longer than demonia which usually break around the heel (i have the sainclair which are approximately 5cm) , and im planning on buying demonia ashes-55

Try Anthony Wang shoes. The platform is hidden, and about 6-7 inches tall. These shoes are fairly chunky, and in many color combinations that are really crazy, as well as black and white. I have 5 pairs of them, as sandals, sneakers, and boots. They are variable in price, say 55-100 US dollars. They are very comfortable, and run true to size. (Jan Griffiths).

Id go for your regular size and then put an insole! The reason why many people feel like they are big is actually cause they are very wide (loooots of space in the front, hence why i put an insole) so yeah and if u are a half size then id probably size up :)

Well i can say generally the shaker platform is very comfy to me, ofcourse there are always odd ones that are maybe different, but as they dont have anything special added to them i think either one is gonna be amazing😻 i just heard that the shaker 65 are tight for people with bigger calves!

Hmmm das ist echt schwer zu sagen.. ich meine die swings sind nicht so schwierig zum laufen, eher anstrengend und mühsam 😂 denke wenn du dich daran gewöhnst dann sollte das schon ok sein, bedenke einfach das nicht alle schuhe so sind, zb shaker 52 oder die kera platforms sind sehr bequem :) die yru hab ich gehört das die auch sehr schwer sind also gewicht mässig, wegen diesem durchsichtigen plastik das die benutzen 🦦

as someone who also wears a men's 13, its difficult to find stuff but if you have the money for it, a large majority of new rocks shoes come in 13s or 46/47s on their site, they are just extremely expensive however

I think so! I have to say though, personally i find ankle high boots easier to start, just because you are a bit more flexible (and less space to get potentual blisters🤣) but i think they do have a nice height to start with!

Heeey i think so personally, ofc if its icy then i wouldnt recommend them but they do have a lot of profile!

I love the shaker platform its super comfy and not super tall (i think camels are taller)

I love them!! but for me personally, if i would have known i would have gotten them one size up! I got them in my usual size and they are quite tight

Heyy i think they do look easy to walk in, im not sure as i dont own this pair. And i just got my first pair of new rock boots (the one with the all black platform and a little metal piece in the middle) sorry i dont know the name they are so complicated haha 😅but they are also like 5cm tall and just perfect!!

Heyy yeah both of them are great! The kera are ofc a bit taller but the platform is also flared out, so both are a great option!!

How many inches of a platform shoe would you consider to be a discreet boost in height, as in the shoe is not too chunky but gives decent height

Id say probably no more than 3-4 cm but i think anything above will be quite visible 🌸
