Lemme give you clarification .. All TN self colleges do collect first year of tution fees around 6-10 lakhs depends clg which is non refundable .. govt issue panathukapram refund tharuvan nu solluvan but tharamaten they ll compensate for 5 th year . Allot agura colleges la 5 lakh min irunthal choose self .. Due to covid and financial issues that I could not handle 5 lakh pretty much higher for me .. Neighbouring state like KL won't collect Any tution charges and whole 6 year hostel and mess .. But in TN whom comes under SC ST should pay hostel mess first year of tution fee and additional payment around 1 lakh per yr is mandatory .. Its seems not happiest thing when compared to other states ..
