Great review..one of the best to compare these Mizuno irons...Would like to see a Muzino 225 vs the Wilson Staff D 9 forged and get your views of these two irons...Thanks...

Finally made the change from my old Mp 30 irons to the MP 225s and couldnt be happier. I had to bend them weak for gap purposes with my wedges . Great content as always guys!

I'm a 7 Handicapper moving from a JPX919 Hot metal pro to a Mizuno Pro 225 and I can you tell you the 225 feels way softer and gives more workability.

Great video as always, got fitted with you guys for a full bag and currently gaming p790s which I’m loving but reckon the next set may be Mizuno or Titleist for that elusive “feel”!!! No rush to change just yet though as still loving my current set!! Keep up the hood works lads!

Cheers Brian. The Mizuno will trump the Titleist for feel every time. 👍🏻

I came out of Apex 21s into the 225s. For me they (225s) feel softer when striking the ball Center if the face. I strike in the toe side more often than I would like but thy are fairly forgiving on miss hits. I did fine the apex 21s easier to shape and they don’t make an awful ting on miss hits like these do.

Mizuno Pro 225 vs Taylormade P790. Which iron seems to be more forgiving in fittings? Which one has better distance control? Lastly, in fittings, which iron tends to have more spin? Thank you!

Both similar for forgiveness. Pro 225 for tighter distance control numbers but only marginal. P.790 for more spin but loft and shaft can influence that. Hope that helps. 👌🏻

again with the "blades are so unforgiving and only for elite ball strikers" rhetoric... in the real world these 221's are hardly any less forgiving than these other two clubs. go out and actually hit them. a high handicapper with these clubs will not start shanking the ball any more than they will with their game improvement irons. As long as you have decent speed you can use them just fine, end of story.
