Nice run! Stumbled on your channel and I’m learning a lot - especially that I should try to counter for spirit gauge more instead of always go for spirit slash combo and get bonked :P

I haven't seen the run yet but the fact that you beat him in three minutes is awesome!, i think i have fought him over 30 times by now and the most i can manage is like 15-20 minutes, just goes to show the skill gap between beginners and veterans, LS is an art and once you master it there isn't really much that can get in your way...well except for wipe-outs that is (that's what it's called when you can't wirefall out of a move if i remember right), i think my problem is that i'm inefficient in building up my spirit gauge, by now i have all the combos down and i have no problems getting in iai counters so maybe i'm just not attacking enough, maybe i should use the foresight slash more because i practically never use it, i know that having the blade red gives a 20% dmg buff but i rarely ever hit that state, it's a very useful boost and i think i'll have to work on that problem of mines if i want to hit run times like this, i'm sure i'll enjoy seeing mizutsune get what he deserves, that slippery pest. Maybe i took that long because it was the demo mizu that i fought, and i'll just be honest here...i don't like killing mizutsune, so maybe that's why the hunt takes so long, idk why but i find mizutsune to be kinda cute in a way especially with those weird fox noises that it makes, unlike a lotta people i don't hate this fight, i actually find it entertaining and fun in a way and tbh i've fought enemies more annoying than mizu in other games (like the raid bosses from borderlands 2 for instance), i'd much rather take this over any DS boss fight as well because dark souls or any other games from FromSoftware are just flat out unfair. Had to edit it again because my info on the gender differences between the male and female mizus was wrong (in fact i had it reversed...whoops).

Wow you just earned the title for longest comment on my channel :D Long sword in Rise is all about the Iai counters... they are tough but very rewarding to pull off, so keep practicing them. The only thing I don't like about this fight is that bubble mechanic... it's just annoying. I sadly have to disagree on the FromSoftware games tho... they are hard but not unfair, there is a reason that these are so popular.

I’m gonna be that guy right now. Never in a MH game have we fought a female Mizutsune. They have all been male. In fact, we’ve never even seen a female. They are incredibly docile and reclusive. Normally, the males are as well, but during mating season they can become incredibly territorial and violent and sometimes need to be hunted for the safety of others.

I could've sworn that the female variant was added in this game for hunting, hrm guess i'll do some more research before i say anything else, but i do know about mizutsune being only a male in hunts throughout all of the Mh games that it's been in, i think it did have females but we never got to fight them. I'll edit this if i see anything about it. Edit: you're right all of the mizutsunes we hunt are all strictly males, i was misinformed it seems, how could i mix up the gender signs in an image showing what the female might look like compared to the male mizu? Guess i'll just pay more attention the next time i do research on these things, i'll edit the original comment too because what i typed is the exact reverse of the info for the genders, it's not the males that have the pale and colorless skin it's the females that do, and the females are the ones with the smaller head fins and not the males, thanks for telling me otherwise i would've gone on think it was a female, but tbh i always did see mizutsune as a male ever since i first saw it, it's just that blasted image...it was from reddit no less too, although it is funny that the male mizu is more fabulous than the female.

@@theartoflongsword2622 Hehe looks like i had the gender differences for mizutsune backwards, mizu is a fabulous washing machine, that much i can say, i think i'll call him Thurtson from now on, i can understand what you mean about FromSoftware games, i know that they aren't actually unfair games i'm just saying that (they can be unfair sometimes though), plus the enemies in the game all have weak points that can be taken advantaged of so it's not actually unfair in that regard, besides everything has a learning curve and i always did say that people played Dark souls way too quickly for their own good which causes them to die a lot, i haven't played any of them but i know that they're all great games, i actually look forward to playing dark souls III, bloodborne and sekiro shadows die twice on the pc whenever i get it up and running again, oh yeah i forgot that Mh rise is coming to pc as well, i'll be looking forward to seeing how good it looks on pc, geez dude you're moving, i'll have to see how you managed to tople magnamalo in 3 minutes, i swear these monsters are getting bullied by you and peppo at the same time, poor things can't catch a break xD.
