If Mj never lost to Tapales then for sure Inoue would have taken the fight. Now it’s a matter of Inoue’s team and promoters if they are willing/want that fight. Mj has no belts and no pull be calling the shots. I can hear Canelo’s voice saying, “payday, you just want a payday.”

MJ has no belt but he is the mandatory challenger, Inoue needs to depend his title to the guys next in line which is the mandatory. No wonder why Bob "the gay" Arum keeps on avoiding MJ and Casimero. because Arum knows Inoue can lose the fight.

Sam Goodman's team is already in negotiations for december. MJ might get it if Goodman pulls out again. Otherwise he will have to wait until next year if Inoue still at 122.

Inactivity can really hurt a fighter. If he's just waiting around not fighting and just hoping that Inoue will pick him for April 2025....he'll be looking at 16 months of inactivity. Not ideal if your comeback fight is an undisputed champion.

Asked by a reporter after Inoue's recent fight whether he would fight Goodman and Akhmadaliev, he said not to worry, as he would fight them both someday. Essentially Akhmadaliev should be playing with Tapales.

Now everyone wants a piece of Inoue; even those from heavier divisions. Because Inoue is cash cow. MJ could have taken Inoue last fight instead of TJDoheny. But his team said he’s not ready for the September 3 date.

You don't qualify to fight Inoue, you are not his fight class yet, you are not a champion.

Inoue has nothing left to prove at 122. He beat all the best. The only one left at that weight class that Inoue should really fight is Goodman which we'll see this December. MJ lost to Tapales by decision. Inoue destroyed Tapales and landed a "knockout" blow that melted Tapales to the canvas. Inoue is going to be moving up to featherweight in 2025 where he'll relinquish all of his super bantamweight world titles. MJ is better off waiting a few more months and I think it'll be good for him to have a rematch with Tapales for the WBA belt to see if that first fight was just a fluke.

no, i'm sorry it will not be possible anymore. the next fight is sam goodman, sam has something to give, his record. so inoue would be pleased to wake up every morning and make him taste his first L. mj already got beat by tapales and tapales already got beaten by inoue. there is literally nothing mj has to offer inoue, if mj loses, his record doesn't get affected he already took an L and losing to inoue is rite of passage at this point, so that's off the table. he has no belts to give so that's that. skill wise to challenge inoue? LOL bro he already lost to tapales and tapales lost to inoue we will know the outcome at this point. but on the other hand mj has everything to gain by taking on inoue, if he loses, mj got the big bag, if he wins he got the big bags and the belts and the fame and everything. its a win win for mj and a lose lose for inoue. sam goodman will be for december and then possibly 1 more fight and then inoue moves onto 126.

If inoue wants he can give up his belt, take a fight against Goodman, take a super fight w/ nakatani, move up to FW. Inoue is the draw, not the belt that he holds.

Mj has no big supporters for Top Rank to give him a chance to fight Inoue. Boxing involves a great amount of money and if the fighters didn't generate fans to watch where they will get the big purse to pay the boxers.
