My Dad and brother went to game 6 of the 97 Finals. The Kerr shot game. My Dad had come home looking for me to take to the game but I had left early to go to a friends house to watch the game. The next morning I saw the ticket stubs on the kitchen counter and was like what the hell who went to the game lol. I had left the house 15 mins before my Dad came home that day. Regret that so much. Luckily I was able to go to a few Bulls playoff games in the 90s. Sat courtside for a regular season game where Mike scored 64 vs Orlando but the Bulls lost. The entire city was a buzz when the playoffs started back then. It was such a great environment to be around. Lots of celebrating and fun.

There is no objectivity in terms of who’s the greatest, there might be objective aspects such as number of rings and MVP trophies but who’s the greatest is a matter of opinion which is by definition subjective. One person might believe Kareem is the GOAT but the guy beside him might believe Oscar Robertson is the GOAT and the guy next to him might believe Wilt is the GOAT. Who’s right? Who’s wrong? The answer is they’re all right. There isn’t a wrong answer. It’s just that your answer has to be sound and reasonable.
