I saw them several times in 80s-90s. I started playing in 85 when I was 15. Now that I have 30+ yrs under my belt, I can say that he was as badass as Lynch, DeMartini, Vivian Campbell, and the rest of the 80s gunslingers. I was so blown away by all those players. When you've got a few years of playing but are stil galaxies away from that level, you can still recognize the killers. MJ was definitely one of the killers.

One of my most memorable moments of years long past, was going to see them for Love At First Sting tour in Edmonton Alberta Canada, being right on the front on Matthias side of course, and I kept trying to get him to come closer and play and finally he did for Rock You Like a Hurricane, he flipped his guitar facing me about six inches from my face and played the solo, smiling like he always did....never forget that, love the guy....then Klaus handed me the drum stick after the encore...The Zoo....those were the days....

Seen the Scorps twice once in 79 opening for Ted Nugent in San Francisco at the Cow Palace, and in 1983 at The Day on the Green at the Oakland Coliseum baseball stadium with Loverboy & Iron Maiden!!!!!! Scorpions rock!!!! 👍
