I'm a straight man and not that there's anything wrong with being gay or transsexual, but I am totally hooked on this show, the reality it presents is eye-opening, I've never had a problem with different genders but today I have more respect and love for them, everybody is worthy to pursue our God-given right to happiness.

When I was 16 years old, I literally had my life saved by a transgender woman in the middle of a random abduction attempt on the way home from my summer job at the mall. As far as I'm concerned, trains women are not only capable of playing superheroes onscreen, many times they are both superheroes AND guardian angels in real life 💄👠💄

Much attention has been paid to MJ being transgender and a talented performer, but if we step back for minute and just look at her as a person, she is an amazing human being. I love the show and all the characters, and hope it runs forever.

john crofts that's because up until now there has been almost no acknowledgement or representation of real trans men and women in the film or tv industry. I mean sure there have been a few characters that are played by cis men or women but the people that have worked on this show are the real deal and they've fought hard to make this show a reality. Emphasising the fact that they're trans is absolutely necessary. Just like so many other minority groups have had to do to be seen, heard, recognised, accepted, respected.

She knows how to be “just a human” by her parents. The way she talks about her parents & the support and unconditional love they gave her speaks volumes. It made her the strong woman she is today. She never fails to acknowledge that love. If only more of Everyone had that perhaps ppl wouldn’t be so angry. If only more LGBTQ ppl had that & felt safe in their families and the World... Still a lot of work to do. One day, some day, maybe now?💞

Sometimes parents ( humans in general) don’t have that capacity to understand, or they’re afraid for them so much so that it’s easier to love from a distance because they don’t wanna see someone that they love getting hurt because of the unacceptable world. I although I am 19 I have that capacity, I have the heart to fight against the injustice of beings who think that anything that is not heterosexuality is wrong because its not. We’re all gods creations at the end of the day and we were placed here to discover not only ourselves but others as well and be excepting of one another.

Saudia Sharon I get that but when I love, I love unconditionally. My child and I would just have to fight through the struggle together. I wouldn't abandon them to fight against an unloving world alone. My mom's best friend was trans, and my father knew before he married my mom that her friend was a part of the package. She was always welcomed in our home and was a like an auntie to us and I miss her everyday of my life... It doesn't cost much to show love and acceptance towards others.

When I first heard about Ryan Murphy doing pose and bringing in people from the scene to work and appear on the show I legit cried. When I was 14 in 2006 and I saw my first vogue battle everrrr leiomy vs Meeka @pocc on Leo jourdans Myspace I never believed that I would see anything like this on TV in my lifetime. You kids have no idea how lucky you are to have a show like this on TV. I'm so happy for everybody on the show, behind the cameras, and especially leiomy. It's crazy to have watched and admired her for 10+ years and see her not only own abdc and willow smiths music video but as a credited choreographer on a show created by Ryan fucking murphy. she deserves all the blessings in the world especially after the way the ballroom scene treated her when she first made it on television.

The only thing wrong with this show, is that they keep saying "Blanca can't pass as a woman". I have to admit that I'm new to this stuff, but I had NO IDEA MJ was a trans woman in real life. She is absolutely beautiful and absolutely a real woman. She's also a fantastic actress. Every straight, and cis (I'm not sure that's the right term, but I believe biologically born males and females are called "cis". Please correct me if I am wrong), man and woman should watch this show. I have learned so much from this show. These are amazingly talented and interesting people. This show has made me cry, laugh and cheer. I totally support this incredibly misunderstood community. Plus, it's such a great show!

Amazing talented cast! Brilliant writing and storylines with international appeal. To be honest when I started watching it I was not aware of any of them being trans actors/actresses, nor did it matter the stories were brilliant and easy to immerse oneself in. Loved seeing Evan Peters character, and his struggles with who he is and societal expectations. Incredible cast I hope there are many series to come!

As a " _straight woman_ ", I LOVE LOVE LOVE this show + every character in it! _Blanca_ is the character I mostly _identify_ with, and she always manages to make me _tear up_ in every episode, as well as stand up and cheer for her! *POSE* is one of the most _groundbreaking fresh_ shows on TV, and I always make it a point to sit down and watch it with my 85 year old grandmother who absolutely LOVES it as much ( _if not more!_ ) than I do! It is about TIME that *real life transgender + gay actors* have been finally given a chance to play + BE themselves! I hope this show goes on FOREVER + we get to see _new transgender actors_ introduced in every season for years to come. I would have really liked for the show's " intro theme song " to have been *Sylvester's* " YOU MAKE ME FEEL ( _Mighty Real_ ) " though - I believe it would have been perfect - as well as an _homage_ to not only Sylvester himself - but to that entire era + the _trans community_ - because Sylvester was truly the FIRST *QUEEN* to appear as "herself" during a time when being a _Black Gay/Trans_ " celebrity " was deemed _taboo_ and unacceptable. Sylvester was truly a *pioneer* in the game, and it would have been great to have had his famous song as the intro song for the shows opener. Just my 2 cents.

I love this show. Now I haven't seen anyone say this, Blanca looks like Jen from basketball wives. And the same NY accent. My favorite episode was episode 2 and favorite part was Bring it like dynasty. "We don't need no damn spin off, Falcons Crest" thank yall for giving me the chance to experience what gay life was about in the 1980s in the ballroom scene.
