Please explain why the force of gravitation=force of centripetal As centripetal force depends on the distance from the centre of the mass P and its own mass I'm confused please explain
@ummmm55 Жыл бұрын
in the def of gravitational force can we use 'point masses'or would that be wrong?

could you explain again in6:55 why is that gravitational force is same

Newtons 3rd ,hence you could say that centripetal force acting on rotating star is equal in magnitude but opposite in direction

Can we use mv^2/r in the Question 1 to find ratio? Because I am not getting the right answer.
@ETphysics3 жыл бұрын
it is because the tangential speeds (v) for both stars are not the same. Only their angular speed is.

how did 2.5 in part ciii (d=2.5x) become 2/5? shouldnt it be d/2.5
@adinfatima38652 жыл бұрын
pls help im really bad at math
@Random-ez8kv2 жыл бұрын
@@adinfatima3865 basically d=2.5x becomes x=d/2.5 or you can even write this as x=2d/5
@amnakhalid46002 жыл бұрын
its what u said . basically u do 1/2.5=0.4 so d/2.5=0.4d its the same thing u will get the answer whatever u use
