Bulls and Jazz had unreal games at Utah. Jordan got them back the next year with a buzzer beater of his own.

The one thing I'll always love about Jordan is that he denied that sick fuck Malone a ring. It's crazy how many times the Jazz choked with one of the best guard-forward duos ever, having them lose to the Bulls back to back was just the most hilarious conclusion.

Back then, NBA baskets had harder rims that bounced the ball more and made it hard to roll in. Just listen to that clanging sound when the ball struck the rims in this video. Before the 2009-10 season, NBA switched to a softer rim, and shooting percentage and scoring immediately went up, and that was before all the team started shooting more threes and went with faster tempo offense. The softer rim also made 3-pointers easier to make. Keep this in mind when you hear people compare Steve Kerr's 3-point-% with Curry's.

What about the ball technology? Any diferences between the NBA ball used back then and current ones?

And I wouldn’t say all arenas sounded this bad back then but goddamn these rims sound worse than the rims we had when I was in high school and I went to an Australian high school!! These sound god awful 😂😂

Reese B I don’t like it, I always like hearing the intensity of the crowds on the old telecasts. The mics they used for the old Chicago stadium always sounded really loud. For instance, the 1988 dunk contest. Just had this loud sound to it

Even before the 2 finals appearances these two teams had battles especially in Utah. 88- MJ scores 47 and the bulls have a big comeback win 90-Stockton leads huge final minute comeback 91-Jordan hits a buzzer beater 92- Triple overtime classic with MJ getting ejected 93- Bulls come back down from 17 in the 4th. MJ scores 37 and Malone scores 40

Crazy, absolutely crazy... what an exciting game. that elbow from the mailman though. he could have easily killed him if hit him in the temple... I remember how he knocked out Robinson. Poor MJ, the amount of beating he got in those games... It is a miracle he survived let alone anything else.

This fake goat debate is a pure media creation. There just wasn’t any aspect of basketball that Jordan couldn’t do at the highest level. Fundamentals, grace, athleticism, basketball IQ, competitiveness, clutchness, guard rebounding, shooting, passing, defense… the man had the deepest bag I’ve ever seen.

Jordan the billy GOAT 🐐 himself.. LeBron in his wettest dreams could not be this man.. explain LeBron had to say "I want my damn respect." Jordan NEVER had to say that because he was respected and feared by all even Shaq said he was scared of MJ, highest scoring avg of all time 30.1ppg regular season, 33.5 playoffs and 6 50+ pt games in the playoffs, 27.9 per highest ever in Regular season and 28.6 PER in the playoffs highest in history, 9 times Al first team Defensive team, defensive player of the year in 1988, and 10 time scoring 🏆 champion, two 3peats 6 NBA MVP'S of the Finals and two time slam dunk champ when it meant something, MJ is the man but hell Lebron nothing wrong with silver or bronze because to me Kobe was the closest thing to Mike. Best to you all.

Well Darryl Griffith normally would guard Jordan in those early Utah matchups, but Darryl chronic knee problems moved him out of the starting rotation. Darryl had the highest recorded vertical ( true 48in ) coming into NBA in 1980.
