Bobby Knight and _____ (other very famous coach) called Jordan the best basketball player he'd ever seen in 1984. Thing with Jordan was.. nobody ever debated who the best in the league was... even pretty early on. It was like "God's greatest b-ball creation" arrived and everyone just sort of knew. I started following Bulls/MJ in 87... was flipping the channels looking for a baseball game and Happened upon a random bulls game. At the time I didn't like basketball at all. It wasn't a dunk or fancy layup that got me.... I remember being absolutely mesmerized by how he ran with / or without the ball. At that time (nine years young, and still) I LOVED watching National Geographic vids of leopards and cheetahs and gazelles.... it's how they MOVE... and when I chanced upon the Bulls game I remember just watching this guy in red run around the court and being mesmerized. To my eyes then he moved like a leopard. To this day, it is still my favorite facet about Michael Jordan's game. A little sentimentality there but true story. 😊 I should also add, there are some certain player(s) who run maybe a bit more like silver back gorillas.... 😂 for my NatGeo informed taste anyway, this difference _alone_ begins and promptly ends the foolish so-called "debate" about "King of the hardwood" (not that 1,000 other reasons why there is no _real debate_ don't also exist)

The one area that we all over look about MJ. And rightly so because he was such an amazing talent and Player. But Damn he was so fundamentally sound...It always seemed like he never made a mistake.

It's crazy MJ scored his 5,000/10,000/15,000/23,000/28,000/ and final point in Philly. If he didn't have a late 3 pointer in January of 93 in Chicago, he would've scored his 20,000 point in Philly the next game as well!

Just no regard for human life when he attacked the basket like a soaring, majestic bird of prey at 1:02!! Would somebody tell him this is no way to treat a 7-foot 7-inch center on his home floor!!

Jay Money I don't hate Kobe at all. It is the way he played that I feel uncomfortable with.
