Jambo's really big sailing adventure begins with this cruise. Right now, I can't say exactly where and how far we will sail as the pandemic is still showing us limitations. Hence, I sail South and will decide step by step how to continue. Of course to sail around the world would be the biggest wish. Let's see!

Tolle Abenteur! Eines Tages bin ich wieder dabei auf dem See zu sein. Du hast eine tolle Ausrustung mit den Elektroniks. Als ich langsam vorbereite fuer meine grosse Abenteur, muess ich sorgfaelligt denke was ich fuer ein Boot brauche. Mal sehen. Die plaudern ueber Elektroniks hilft - danke. 20-minuten Schlaff aber,... das reicht nicht! Hast Du an Thermo-Kamera gedacht? Die sollen gut fuer mehr Schlaff sein.

I'm really pleased you are on your new adventure. May I make a suggestion, when making long journeys why don't you pre cook your meals and store them in your new freezer rather than cook at sea. If you injured yourself, stumbled etc you could be in big trouble being alone. Just defrost and nuke the food in a microwave. The containers are reusable, hence there would be limited waste / packing to store on-board. Its just a suggestion. Looking forward to your new videos. You make the whole event look easy. Hallo Martin, ich muss auch sagen, dass deine kompetente und entspannte Art immer mit einem Lächeln verbunden, sehr angenehm zu sehen sind. Gruß Marcus aus der Nähe Bremerhaven Noch eins, ich habe die Erfahrung gemacht bei den Liontron Akkus, dass sie bei sehr geringem Verbrauch, z.b. Alarmanlage Bereitschaft oder ähnliches, den Verbrauch über das BMS nicht erfassen. Sprich, die angezeigte Ah Kapazität ist hoch aber die Spannung entsprechend zu niedrig. Also eine verlässlichere Auskunft über den Ladezustand gibt dir die Spannung. Um die Lebensdauer zu optimieren, mögen die Lifepo4 am liebsten mit halber Ladekapazität gelagert werden, aber auch hier wie oben erwähnt auch auf die Spannung achten.

Absolutely loved it Martin, handy having that extra power when you need to use hand tools on a trip. I'd be interested to know how the powers sources of wind , water and solar compare in the real world (and by Real world I mean on Jambo as you sail where ever life takes you)

Thank you very much! I think the best source on board is solar as you just install it and nothing further is to do on the cruise. This is followed by the water powered generator as you hang it out and that's it. 3rd and 4th options are Honda genset and the engine. Best regards 😀⛵⛵
