When you replace an alternator due to dead battery you should always fully charge the battery before starting it…. You are putting a ton of stress on a brand new alternator making it charge a dead battery or partially dead. Usually it will survive and be ok but it’s way better to not stress it… it will Last longer for sure.

bought a 2000 751 the tilt works but the lift dont and the pedal for it will move on the back but not front. I was told it is the lift lock valve...my question is i got the part but dont know where it goes and cant find pictures for reference. thank you in advance if u can help me out :-)

If you have a second. I am trying to go look at an older 751 that engine is toast. I'll need to move machine. Is there a hyd release or sequence I can follow to allow me to push? Best; Tom

I think you would need to remove the traction lock solenoid then you could push it.

I have the same model having problems with it not lifting . Spool seals have been replaced along with the bearings. Any ideas on what it might be ?

Does it try to lift at all? There’s a safety switch on the lap bar and a seat safety switch. But they keep the emergency brake locked as well. So if it moves forward and backwards that may not be it.

It only lifts when I tilt bucket the arms will extend . I've replaced both sensors due to other issues. The lift bypass valve hose that's 1' long is leaking pretty badly. The hose that goes to control valve. I'm assuming this is probably the problem or I'm hoping so . What do you think ?

Yeah I'm a big guy and I'm having trouble with the safety bar getting over my belly is there anyway to adjust it for a bigger people

I'm not aware of any way to adjust it, it may require modifying the bar.

The old Peugeot... I used to have a 751 with a Peugeot. We had to rebuild the motor. If you ever need parts for that xud9 motor go to eBay UK. The parts are a dime a dozen. For example- Bobcat wanted $1,900 for 4 pistons and rings. eBay uk price was $200 for all 4.

I have a 97 751 Peugeot . 1300 hrs I bought it with and 5 hrs timing belt broke . Rebuilt the motor and 10 hours in the cam shaft pulley snapped off . Rebuilt again . I’m scared to keep the thing . It’s 4000 to rebuild with parts and labour everytime

@@milesramage2977 I would get it running and get rid of it. Look for any other bobcat with a kubota engine and you should be fine. That’s what we did.

Do you know the model# of the Pressure pump? i know the engine xud9 but i need the info of the pump's tag

Great video!👌🏾 Just got a 92 753. Hoses are leaking everywhere. This video is very helpful. Were you getting any hesitation in movement from having the leaks?

I haven’t noticed a hesitation but if it was low on fluid or the hoses to the drive motors were leaking I could see where that could happen.

I have a 751. I have so many leaky hoses I bought dies, hose, fittings and started making hoses myself. Between that 751 and the mini 720 I have it would have bankrupted me buying hoses.

+ken bazinet the glow plugs? Make sure none of the wires and shorted to ground. Then I'd start unplugging each glowplug individually and see if it stops blowing fuses.

There’s a fuel cutoff solenoid on the injection pump. Make sure it’s getting power.
