I love your tutorial so much, how you are explaining everything so well but not too detailed, how you are conscious of yarn usage, how you say we need to take breaks with raffia... Your tutorial is one of the best on KZbin! I finished the bag today. I sew the other circle instead of sl st and i Will purchase leather bag handles instead. Thank you so much for this video!

I’m loving this design! I am having trouble though with gusset puckering my round. Should I go up a hook size, or maybe only slip stitch two every other row on the gusset? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Making this as a bday gift for best SIL ever!😊

I think a lining is a great idea, especially to keep smaller items from falling out. Alternatively, one could make sure to put smaller items into small bags before putting it in the purse, which can help with organizing, and easily finding things inside of the purse.

You could spray it for extra protection. I wet mine to see what would happen and it was fine.

Hi, can this be done using acrylic yarn weight 4? Thanks
@mjsoffthehook2 жыл бұрын
You could try it and see what you think. Gauge isn't that important with this pattern, you'll just get a smaller bag. If the worsted weight is on the light side I would double it up to get closer to the size I made.
@maithileek2 жыл бұрын
Ok, will definitely try with acrylic yarn. Will post a photo once done. Thanks so much for your reply!

Can I do this pattern with regular yarn?
@candycoatedreams7 ай бұрын
It's your project you can use your creativity any way you wish. But with standard yarn the bag won't look like this. It won't be structured. But I'm sure it would be cute!

You can also adjust the speed of the tutorial to slow it down and see better, although it does effect the verbal instructions. If you’re on your phone, click on the three dots at the top right and then click on playback speed to slow it down as much as you need. I hope this helps! 😊
