The thing is, when asking "How fast is it.?", the question really should be.. "How fast can I make it go.?".. Most RCs are geared really conservatively by the manufacturer to give the motor, ESC & drivetrain an easier time of it & making them a bit more durable.. I've had RCs (Hobao spring to mind) that are really slow & underwhelming on stock gearing, then I've fitted a larger pinion gear & they've turned into 60mph, standing backflip, wheelie stunt monsters.!! If things get a bit too warm under the bonnet, fit yourself a heatsink & a fan or two... Simples.! 😉 😉 As always, another fantastic fun packed entertaining as heck RC video.! Awesome awesome comment! You're also spot on, what an RC does out of the box is often nowhere near its maximum potential on a stock power system. It's hardly believable sometimes what can be achieved with just a bit of gearing and mild tuning.

I always smile when a budget brand of anything keeps up with a "name brand." I guess the question is, at what point do we just consider them to be equal. We have MJX killing it in this video and not to mention others, and I dont even think that I need to explain why and how Rlaarlo is tearing it up.

More competition in the RC space is always a good thing for consumers. So whether you like MJX or not, like the truck or not, MJX deserve a Pat the Bunny 🐇for effort (and improvements) Go Bunny Go ! 🐰 PS: gotta Shoe Goo that analyzer. That stuff never comes off unless you heat it up. I put Shoe Goo on my tires on top of the BSI IC-2000 CA glue. PPS: ProLine has gluing issues with their latest 3.8 belted Badlands. At least, on a 15 pound truck, they like to come loose

It's funny you'd say that, because other than the difference in top speed and chassis length, the MJX reminds me very much of the Redcat in how it handles. MJX really did step up on this one. They were already good, but this is a whole new level for them. I'm happy I got to feature this one.

Oh just said 10 scale so it’s size of a granite I’ve owned a lot rcs and driving and reliability have say what a underrated legend , same with 4s Mojave legend “ now that Arrmas mainstream these smaller companies compete keeping everyone happy . MJX and Rialto give us a lot for little money if we’re just one company you would need 500 - 1000 for something decent

Mate, there is a reason Rlaarlo called it a Mini 1/10, should have just called it 1/12 and be done with it, but that chassis will be used for the 1/10 rally car, so it's 1/10 car sized. And whatever size, that car performs pretty well. Could have been included here to have a shootout of the China cars as part of the overall showdown. The big established boy's need to pull their pants up, they are getting a#$e whipped by the cheaper competition. Capable of beating on dirt, field and road, beating on price, the established brands need to sort themselves out or this asian invasion will win over the public before they know it. You can only trade on a name when the name means something, it seems they have just taken the RC community for granted instead. It's getting interesting, very interesting.

We looked into that but we're not sure if it's fast enough to stay with the cars. The Avata drones even get outran on the field races, but luckily those races have two drastically sharp turns that allow the drones to catch back up. we have thought about getting one though.

Wow buddy the MJX is a sweet truck and even comes with what looks like a beefy center brace. I like the MT8 as well. It looks like it would perform well offroad due to its size mainly. Incredible video action with all the nice cars. Who was flying the drone? 🫶🏆
