Christopher Kirsling I just used my Samsung Galaxy S3 phone with my buddy's B2W two days ago. It worked fine but only got about 80 meters range at 25 meters altitude... would NOT work with my Ellipsis 8 tablet at all, did not even see the birds wifi

Thanks for all the info & your video review. The Wi-Fi signal was being broadcast on 5.8ghz band N. A lot of Android pads & phones can't receive 5.8ghz Wi-Fi band. You said MJX updated Wi-Fi band? So now with update is Wi-Fi on 2.4ghz band? Or what? My only concern is the controller is also on 2.4ghz band, does the Wi-Fi signal interfere with the controller?

No, the wi-fi signal doesn't interfere with the controller. From what I know channels 149-165 don't work in Europe. I think they changed that. I need to ask them further information though. Even so, if you go on the site you can download the fix... it worked for me with no problem.

hey buddy, nice review and info on the Bugs 2.....i would like to wish you Good Luck in sorting things out with MJX....i am supposed to be their distributor in Cyprus, and sadly they sent me 3 times a software program to fix the Wifi issues on two quads Bugs 2.....problem never solved.....actually, i could detect the Bugs 2, connect, and then the app would stop working and connection lost after 30 seconds....one of the quads, actually does not even record video or shoot pics.....even that MJX could not bother to help me solve it.....wondering now if i should even try to sell them in my place.....any comments will be greatly appreciated....thumbs up on your presentation

i have my new mjx b2w but when i tested, i could not go beyond 491 meters altitude. Even during reaching that 491 meters, the remote controller was continuously losing signals and beep. what should be the solution for this? either the drone is faulty.

Bugs 3. The bugs 2 has an attached camera. Doesn't really work with a go pro.

Do you mean to say we can't use FPV without the micro SD card at first? Last night i spent more than an hour trying to connect. No MJX wifi signal could be found. Next question: What's the maximum SD card size that's compatible with this MJX Bugs 2 B2W?

Hi i live in Europe and i have a Sumsung Galaxy J5 (2016), i think wifi is 2.4ghz. I´ve tried to link it with my bugs 2 but my phone never seems to find wifi signal from the drone, this meens i will never be able to connect to the drone? If i download the software will it work?

Yes, try to download the software. That might fix it!

DaviCupra your phone does not support 5G wifi, which means you will never be able to connect to the wifi signal from bugs, you will need a better phone

Can anyone tell me how and if this will work with my lgk82018 smartphone?? I would like to buy the bugs2w if my phone will work. The reason iam asking is I've heard from some people that even if your phone shows no support for 5g wifi, it could still work, which doesn't make much sense to me. Sorry, it most probably won't work because it doesn't have 802.11ac wifi. You can check my review on the bugs 3 though, that will work!

Hi! I have the problem with the camera, it deoa not work and does not work WIFI. I download your file but this is not help with solving. Can you advise something else? This programm must be in rar file or .ov or in the folder. May be the sd card i have is not is not supported? I have 32 GB class 10 card. Please help me!

the card is good. You need to unarchivate the files and then put them on the card. After that put it in the camera and leave for 3 minutes like that, then open the drone, leave for another 3 minutes and close it. You can also reinstall the app on your phone and try it with another phone.

DronesGator I am sorry but in which camera I need to insert SD? I got only one drone card port. Unfortunately i dont have another phone or card to test it... But with this card drone doesn't work at all not a WIFI mode nor camera button... But card are working in other devices. On the underside the Red lamp is shining. Does it correct? In manual writed that lamp must be blue...

You need to insert the card in the drone ( close to the camera in the spot for it) . Also, remember that you should do the GPS calibration before after starting the drone. Check the manual for better instructions.

Can't fly this. Bugs (b2C) lights continuosly and fastly between green and yellow. Remote control don't show level battery (on the right) It is always empty altough I charged it for 5 hours (charging with solid red and green lights). Where I wrong with it?

Just a doubt. Before using it for the first time I followed this procedure (kzbin.info/www/bejne/f5aVhpSilt-DgJo (I am in europe). Maybe I set channel 149 :(. Can this be the cause? Or do I try your file? (But this file is 21 july 2017. I boght in Jan 2018. MJX may not have solved yet ). thanks

I learned how stupid it is to just start it up...my Bugs 6 just starts and flies.... This thing (2C) ya have to do the hokieepokiee and turn the drone around and bind this and calibrate that...Cumon... Really? every time ya turn it off and back on? Poor way to get people to get into the hobby...
