I don't find it controversial that this may or may not be the final product, i find it strange that half the people are saying this is the 100% finished product, according to their conversation with MJX, and the other half are saying MJX told them this is an unfinished pre-release design. Who is correct? That's the weird thing. Both sides claim their statement is based on what MJX told them, as a reviewer of the truck. That's weird.

Yeah I know that I find that kind of strange myself. Unless mjx is telling stories. But I kind of doubt it. Like you said who is telling the truth? I guess we'll find out when the time comes right.

I liked the white better also. Had ordered one but canceled because heard they were coming out with new version in the near future. Talked to someone at Makerfire, they told me October is release for the new version.

I have many Hyper Go 1/16th scale trucks that i enjoy. I ordered this 1/10th weeks ago and not received it yet. I like how the company includes lighting on trucks I have received. I would have enjoyed if you rated it as some u have in the past with 1-5 or 1-10 stars rating. I always benefit from your reviewes so ty. Happy trails.

Looks like I have an original v1 on the way from AE. Good to see another objective vid. Mjx seem to be getting a lot of grief even though they're on the almost immediate updates and revisions. Ive seen other brands turn a total blind eye for a whole gen or two in redundancy to make such revisions. Mjx and the like are the reason for the whole mini scale rc models like the groms - id say the mini e-revo and losi's were pretty much niche. I LOVE the quality in the 14th scale of my 14210 that the main brands can't compare to in value and rely on recent nostalgia and brand loyalty to sweep over actual value. Mjx deserve market share and if this comes out with discounts by AE to sub 200 - which I think we'll see in a matter of weeks to months after the v1.1 to 2's release, theyre going to smash it and deservedly so. I'd say the drama comes from influencers knowing that if they go super pro Mjx the stream of free / sponsored review models from main brand dries up... That's why I rate the objectivity here and with RC guys Garage - free or not, genuine opinions with out the egg shells. Plus Beyond RC - he said it clearly, other brands should be worried. Just my opinion but give it a few more years they're gonna be on par with the others on quality AND value will exceed them. The 1/8th? That's going to be the paradigm shift for Mjx.

I’d like to see it in your usual BMX spot to get a fair comparison. At your projected price range it should compete with a Granite/MT10, but in this setting it doesn’t look like it does.

If it needs tires and a new radio to be considered a pretty good truck, why not just buy the Granite with superior parts support, or spend a few more bucks on the Stampede and have excellent parts support and customer service to go with it. There is a place for these MJX cars, but at this point I am still willing to pay a bit of a premium to ensure I'll have availability to parts to fix it in the next year or two.

I think you went a little too thin oil I the rear mate, seems to be sagging a lot and slapping a lot aswell. Tighter springs and thicker oil needed definitely. But the car itself looks ok, geometry in general looks a little off though so it'll be hard to get a perfect set-up I'd imagine. Good review though man, you proven it's a tough little rig👍

Rear oil I left about stock (just refilled because it was a little empty), I went heavier in the front though.

To improve the handling they should put a gyro on it like the Omni Terminator from Rlaarlo.

Should be, but I haven't heard of anyone actually receiving a car they purchased through Aliexpress yet, so I don't think they're actually shipping yet.

Good eye. Yeah, there's some other weird things going on with the handling, almost like it has dynamic toe in/out or something. But the location I was driving at is very rough so it's hard to get a good feel for what it's doing.
