I just learned about MkGee a couple weeks ago. Excited to see where he goes. Enthralling melodies, very impressive guitar work - just hope he keeps the overall sound/song stye varied enough (there’s the rub, isn’t it?)

Loved the Flamenco groove of the theme! We lost him a decade ago, but would love to hear you react to a Paco De Lucia performance. I realize this probably doesn't fit into the 'model' of the channel, but it would be cool to hear your thoughts on the artist. Thought it would interesting to hear your opinion in the context of 'great' guitarists. Thanks for the cool content. ( This is a nice one .. Makes me miss Michael Hedges, who said nice things about my guitar playing once... May 'alien guitar" playing be the idiomatic direction music takes to differentiate human idiosyncracy from ai regurgitation.

it is a baritone Fender right? Or did I always assume so and he’s doing octave modulation pedals?

Listen to Alesis Live also, and I think he’s on a train (Candy Live also filmed there) - not sure how he’s got wind in his hair and no air noise on his vocals… ai noise reduction?

also why over the past several years are lap steel/steel pedal making its way into a LOT of new music? Up to and including a lot of neo "country" releases from people like Beyonce and others you'd never expect it from (not that's it's bad/good, just unexpected).
@MeMe-hp3hl4 сағат бұрын
I'm into it but I'd hardly say he's any kind of guitar virtuoso at this point. The stripped down no base no drums underproduced product makes is why it sounds otherworldly. It's as if the full transmission didn't get through. It's unfinished. So yeah, neat idea, I'm into it, the second coming of Prince? Uh no. Lyrics aren't blowing me away. Are you looking for someone to put out your fire? Uh, you mean to get snuffed out? It's not great.
@Yosser7012 минут бұрын
How is that live? Where’s his mic that picks his voice up regardless of which way he’s facing but not the wind noise 🤷🏻♂️ Anyway, proper snooze fest for me, technical ability doesn’t equal good music.

Of course, this is our favourite KZbin Channel! And i love to see you creating a melody with flamenco reminiscences, everytime you do it better! You've got the flow! I support the comments about to you cover some stuff about flamenco. It would be something strange to see here, that is true. But there are a lot of music where flamenco and rock are merged, and it's very interesting stuff. I would love to you listen a woman from Seville, she is new, and she is not famous...her name is Graci Rodriguez. She does a very interesting stuff that you should listen. Well, Merry Christmas to you and Desirée, i hope you cover her new songs here too 😊. We love u! ❤ kzbin.info/www/bejne/hn2mYoSLfK2tpZIsi=MgxjyFR_6cS8KV7L

Man it's fine if you don't get it but what's up with calling everyone an industry plant these days? Just a new trend kids got into?
@charles94875 сағат бұрын
“Industry plant” is such a mundane, meaningless identifier. Almost every artist to ever make it to a chart has been pushed and marketed by a label in some way. It really has no bearing on whether or not they are talented or original.

What's it with throwing some shades on girls? There are some mean female guitar players out there.
