Great accomplishment no doubt from an engineering standpoint. But not a good comparison to Concord in my view. Concorde was in another league - a passenger jet, which comes with a lot more constraints than an unmanned, scaled-down model aircraft. This is an encouraging proof of concept which hit some benchmarks, but has not tackled others yet.

Ummm, guuuuys,... Doesn't this also make Aurora the first Remotely Piloted Vehicle to go Supersonic under power? Might even count as the first RC Aircraft to do it, depending on how the piloting is done, manually vs autonomous, with the latter being the realm of cruise missiles.

Is is due to fade away. They have been busy for so long and the only result is a rocket powered model plane. First civil plane to break the soundbarrier come on, loads of model rockets entered space with twice the speed of sound.
