Originally it was planned to be that way. I guess they got told this to late to scrap this game and had to do what they could. Kinda bs tho cause they can kill in comics and injustice but it’s so wrong here. Would’ve been perceived much different if it had blood.

Asphyxia Bi-Han was tasked by Quan Chi to get shinnok’s amulet a few years before the first MK. Raiden found out and he was really mad at Bi-Han. He sent Bi-Han to the netherrealm to return it to raiden. Raiden still hated him though

The only thing i hated in this game was the poor "inside" story. I mean that the idea of teamwork between worlds against an evil enemy was the best of all games, but every character was wondering around finding someone else by luck, and thats what turned me off. The basic idea was just perfect, but the way the connection formed between the worlds was poor as hell man
