If all the MK11 ending are canon then she’s alive in at least one of them. That being Titan Kabal’s timeline. He gave the hourglass back because he didn’t want the responsibility. In exchange Kronika wrote the next timeline in way that gave Kabal a normal and stable life. Kabal has a family there as well
