I would love for it to continue truly. I'll be following up on this now that I think we're done with the leaked messages. Unfortunately I do think its true but there is always that chance.. At least when the last of kp2 hits I hope we can at least get what's left of production (a couple kameos etc)

I suscribe to the theory of: Yes, FateUnknown has been right so far, but this was a means to weed him out from further leaks, especially since it got viral. Especially since the game has been getting fixed up both in content and gameplay wise, too early to call it quits, especially after so much promises. Very unfortunate anyways. The selection for that Kombat Pack was neat honestly, I feel like maybe the guest character could've been Ash Williams or the Doom Guy/Slayer, especially since one was likely nearly done for MK11 while the other is always brought up as a hopeful return to gaming guest characters. I think something they should add more is more stages, do like other fighting games and bring in past stages perhaps, as well as variants. Like maybe a new era version of the pit along with it's classic version, classic variation for the living forest, more earthrealm stages, etc. Great video.

I love mk1 I have soo many hours in it the most of any mk and made friends because of it found this channel so Im definitely happy with mk1 but it's also kinda sad but im looking at the positives and its my favorite Mk.

Here I was about to tell them you packed your bags, and moved to Alaska over this. 😆 I joke of course no worries, imo all this has done is burn what little goodwill WB/NRS had. I honestly don’t want to hear about another mainline MK until 2030. If they do a 3rd this fast man this either will be the best comeback story, or at worst drop the ball again. Then that’s a 3rd MK game abandoned, and left for dead… I don’t think the fans want that. So yeah if it’s a MK spin-off okay I can dig that or Injustice or hell even a new IP, it’s pretty obvious NRS themselves are burned out on MK. They did 2 back to back, and quite frankly I don’t blame them for what happened. So many variables behind the scenes, it’s like any office job you’re just there doing what you do. You don’t call the shots where the company is headed but if something goes wrong, you catch the hell for it. LoL Ahh man life isn’t fair but that’s reality. ☕️

I love Boon for what he has done in helping create this series BUT, he needs to stop telling people how long the games will lost. As they say you're only as good as your word. I'm sure he was excited and really projected a longer run time, but come on three times in a row now? A lesson should've learned after the last one... By now I'd say he just memed himself, thats an absurd about of times to drum up peoples hope and be quiet on communication after/during issues. I'm on the same boat, as far as a new side project for MK - oh hell yeah sign me up. As far as the canon game. I'm sure I'll be excited, but I'll use my own eyes and judgement. Their words have been a letdown

They could actually add that to Towers of Time as its own tower, I’ve thought about that since before launch. Unfortunately they made Klassic arcade machines that you beat up. LMAO Yo I’m telling you whoever is in leadership positions at WB are crazy. Instead of doing better ideas nah we won’t do that. Beat up a Shaolin Monks 2 cabinet within invasions? Put that in that’s amazing. 🤣 Ohhh the pain. Anyway as you’ve said we got each other, so that has eased the fatal blow here. ❤️‍🔥

I refuse to believe that MK1 is cancelled, I’m aware of FateUnknown is a Huge Deal, but even though I’m trying to be optimistic and hopeful, I’m also realistic, I don’t know how to feel about this, I’m still hoping we get more MK1 content but seeing this is like if Wolverine Gut Punch with his Claws, Also TrueUnderDawg said that Ed and NRS kinda confirmed that their next Game isn’t in Development so how would this even Work? Still I would love loved to see Jade, Sonya, Kano, Kung Jin, and Cassie Playable with a Guest Character as a Love Letter, I would literally pay money for this with the 2nd Story Expansion, No Joke or Cap, look I’m not sugarcoating this, I know where there’s a Win Lose Situation when it comes to stuff like this, I’m just Hoping and Praying that maybe just maybe there’s something that will Benefit Us Fans as a Win, even if KP3 and the Story Expansion is cancelled, there should be a Ultimate Edition in the Works, this is something that should happen at least.

So I guess I’m hoping 2 things might happen in response of this leak. 1: WB states this was true and then says they will instead proceed with KP3 due to the backlash (highly unlikely) or 2: Like the latest business meeting said just a few weeks ago NRS is working on the next MK game either a new MK fighter or MK spinoff like Shaolin Monks 2 ect. Don’t think support will continue with MK1 and that decision has been made for a few weeks now. Personally I’ll buy anything MK related and will continue to play MK1 and look forward to this next game they mentioned at their latest business meeting. 🐉

KP3 would've been great, but tbh the less story coming from the current writers, the better. Despite this being my favorite franchise of all time. I had to skip most of Khaos Reigns cutscenes. The writing was just so random and cringy.

I will still play it. Hell I paid for it. I'm disappointed fans didn't buy into the kameo mechanic. For me pre launch this was the the main reason I pre-ordered as well as the return of 3D characters. As soon as that Reptile/Ashrah trailer dropped I paid for it. Over 600 hours dedicated thus far. I love this franchise since day 1 and will continue to support it. This must suck for developers and fans alike when the publisher pulls the plug

Man, sucks that this game has a good chance of being over and done with. Street Fighter 5's release was legit the worst a fighting could be released. No game modes, no single player content, terrible online, no skins, no characters, super limited gameplay, I DONT EVEN THINK YOU COULD FIGHT A CPU. But Capcom stuck with it for many many years and finished the game till it was actually dope. I was hoping the same could be done with this game but maybe next time? lol

Is there a chance? Of course, for me it's slim, but they also cancelled MKX and MK11 early too so it is already happening again and again. WB takes them where they want the money, NRS unfortunately can't rebuttal them. Fans can make a difference though, it will take a lot of people.

@@fantapro23 they certainly have! NRS had plans and the distaste for WB is definitely showing. We were suppose to have a multi-year MK game, and they allowed Boon to do PR on this - again. I understand KR took a hit, but WB is hurting the developers and the fanbase. Its been one to many times... I'll be making a vid sharing the chance it has, and I do think its unfortunately cut for corporate greed but both sides need covered. I'll be sharing this next.

Content creators are seen by companies as extensions of the publisher's PR market, they by no means favor those that only criticize their games, quite the opposite really. They want creators to only say good things about their games. But, people are not stupid. If a game isn't good, it's failure is inevitable. And the game hasn't lived up to the WB expectations because gamers didn't buy the game, gamers did buy the game even on switch, but that's not where their profits are. They want people to buy their horrible micro transactions, battle passes and so on, that's very cheap for them and very lucrative. Now what is expensive and time consuming for them are Kombat packs and overall new content beyond skins. So if their golden eggs aren't dropping they cut the actual good stuff without blinking. You are blaming the wrong person, friend.

I really dislike mk1. I would consider the golden age of mk, mk9, mkx and mk11. They almost ruined mk11 with their mobile game tactics, but thankfully they failed. But, WB only doubled down on the worst parts of mk11 for mk1, and when they didn't get the results they wanted they plan to abandon it as if it was never a live service to begin with. It's a new low for WB.

yeah. so glad Woke-tal Kombat 1 is dead. as it always was since the beginning. its just official now :) all the copers denied but i said it, this game was already dead before arrival. it was just about time. never had anything good. roster, story, char designs, DLC, gameplay were all poorly done. didnt feel like a MK game. and its all NRS fault, turning it into Woke-tal Kombat. in the end, this is what they get :)
