That was Ed Boon's dream, not Jean-Claude's! lol JCVD could have done this way back then but he never reached out to Midway. Ed Boon surmises that JCVD didn't want to be associated with videogames at the time. His team did reach out to Mdway one time and something happened with communication. Boon reached out to the team again and no response so they just let it go.

@@Pupp3tCl0wn Well that statement was what Ed Boon said. Now, if you're saying that the reason it isn't true because of the Capcom thing keep in mind that this was 1994 as you pointed out. Mortal Kombat came out *2 years before that* and was in production much earlier. When it was in production it was supposed to be loosely based on Bloodsport which came out in 1988. Point being that long before JC made any deals with Capcom, (as early as the late 80s) Ed Boon reached out to him. Safe to say that JC changed his mind after seeing the success of Mortal Kombat and decided to give Street Fighter a shot. And I'm just basing this mainly on past knowledge and what Ed Boon himself said recently
