Rewind zoned once with raiden and now everyone thinks it’s injustice like. MKX was fast paced and even if you played well and it was a good game the game ended super fast. They then made injustice 2 a slower paced game with a lot of zoning and little pressure. MK11 looks to be a little bit of both but still keeping up the pressure. And guys it’s legit the very first gameplay we have so don’t judge the whole game off of 2 players

I will judge the game because Raiden moves are really suspicious. He can teleport far away from you, his lightning dive makes you fly back, he has annoying lightning, the anti air looks big etc... Also, I think Rewind lost because he ended up playing too aggressive rather than keeping up the boring zoning (notice that he stopped teleporting far away from Sonya). So yes I will judge it, and if the devs don't want me to judge it, then don't put up this match.

I played injustice 1 and 2 and it was fine but a little slow and this looks in the middle. But it only had like 3 zoning moves. If you want to know what true zoning is then watch Deadpool game play or docto fate cause that’s what zoning really is

Some really amazing new details that immerse the hell out of me. The "Round 1...Fight" now feels very intense. Certain moves and grabs now have the "X-Ray' Effect FINISH HIM/HER appears and time stops when the final blow is dealt. Fatalities end with the Injustice slowmow. I adore the fact that they take making the game seem so cinamatic, with rich character interactions before the fight, gameplay being blended to be like a movie, a story mode that feels like a full feature leangth film. I play other fighting games but they never suck me in as much as MK. This is looking to be the best MK yet, with custom character variations, balanced mechanics, and just an absolute rush of fun gameplay. Cant wait for April so I can see Uncle Raiden kick people off his front yard to Earth Realm.

Kyle Nelson Go look up MIT playing as scorpion he does a vortex day one lol he didn’t do the most optimal vortex combo but still it is a vortex with a 10 hit combo and the opponent has to guess low or overhead. MK11 is more about spacing and footsies it seems. No starting over head/low shenanigans. Although guessing wrong can lead to losing a round. MK has been known for that type of play style.

You know someone is a fighting game noob when they dis zoning and good neutral and only value rushdown mixup bullshit. Face it. MKX was a rushdown 50/50 bullshit party game. You can totally see the first two matches were set up to showcase the characters. One player wins one game, showcases the fatality, the other wins the next, showcases the fatality. The third game is when they just play normal. You can tell because the pace of the fighting goes up extremely fast.

I feel this game will appeal to people who prefer short combos, and zoning, which is cool. I like fighting games with high execution, longer the better combos. I usually pick my character by who has the largest combo 's to be honest. My channel is all about combo video/turtorials. I been playing fighting games for a long time. Played MK1 on arcade cabinet. SF2 on SNES. Unless they add meter burn, depth, creativity, and flexibility to combo structure, it wont hold my interest for long. Its a guaranteed pre-order no matter what, it's MK!!!

Sionix Midnight I’m not having a problem with geras race the only problem i have is that he’s too similar to other characters in this series that could of easily made it back like tremor could of been in this trailer instead of geras the only new character they could of brought in is kronika because she actually has a part in the mk story unlike geras he’s a waste of a slot in the roster

Well my friend, Injustice was developed in a similar way, just like how mk x took from injustice 1, mk 11 takes from injustice 2. I think we just reached a point where both series come out as very cinematic. IMO, mk has better combat.

The game isn't out yet, they didn't show everything, frame data is NOT gone, wakeups are character specific, still a stamina mechanic, Dash Blocking, implementation of flawless blocks, why am I wasting my fucking time

u can def see the injustice comparisons, whereas MK usually has a bit more footsies and combo ability as opposed to the movespam in injustice. Hopefully theres more to the game upon release but from what I've seen so far cant say that I would purchase this just yet. Hopefully a MvC announcement is coming this year for those of us who still enjoy lightning speed gameplay and long ass combos.

I love fighting games. Zoning and footsies are very important aspects of almost all fighters. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and have different tastes. Some people hate long combo's, some people live for long combo's. I'm more of the latter. Gameplay to me looks rigid, a IJ2 reskin, with MK characters and gore. I will buy it, and if I cant find any creative expression within the core gameplay, outside of zoning, footsies etc. I 'll just play something else. Nonetheless, I have unconditional love for MK.
