Facts. I understand Ed Boon said " we had tone him down a bit" but this is plain ridiculous. He's clearly unfinished when you just look at the fact that all of his ranged abilities are trash and cannot be amplified, and also doesn't have low or overhead starters. I have 5k games with him and while I have around 65% win ratio, it is still such a struggle to win and be satisfied with it, if it makes sense.

@@MSF93 I mean...Shao Kahn isn't the best character in the game, but you made him look like a tragedy and this is far from the truth. Shao may have not really good strings BUT, he has 3 armor breaks (and not useless ones, they are his standard combo starters) he has incredibly huge damage and he can turn the tables with just one combo. I'd say shao kahn is the most balanced character, no great strings or poke in exhchange for huge damage and armor breaks.

When you two play Shao you can just tell he's not your main. Defensive play is universal but i've seen a few shao's that wouldn't let you breathe. You 2 are some of the best players in the world but u wouldnt beat a true shao kahn main if u were using just shao but still awesome video

@@CaptainTed 44 has a gap, 142 has a gap, f2 too slow; some people just duck at that range because thats his only move that can reach that far. f24 has such a big gap that you can s1 and interrupt which has little risk because if they go for f21 they can't hit confirm the 2nd hit. f34 is definitely one of the easiest gaps in the game. You can wait until you see his foot come down to fb and punish the move they tried to fill that gap in. if a move has a gap its unsafe, yeah you're capping
