The Blue Ovals once again took over Santa Pod Raceway for The Ford Show 2024, there was a good mix of new & old school running on the 1/4 mile as well as the Modified 100e Challenge and a few drag demos too.

RWYB days in the UK are predominantly street/road cars with a handful of drag cars

Drag Racing is very niche here as we only have one purpose built drag strip, at RWYB events you will only see road going cars and the odd 1 or 2 drag cars. Circuit & Hillclimbs/Sprints are more common forms of motorsport here

So much slow shit LOL, those RS Focus'..14/15s poppin' and bangin' 💥 misfiring away, 😂 A Cortina crabbing like a happy dog, 🤣 . I ran 10.10s in a 3300lb US car at S Pod 32 years ago, all steel N/A street car....then I see this pedestrian stuff with geeky "Tech" an' all that all this time later and think.....ffs . . I think their blow of valves were all stuck open 🤣 , thumb up👍💣💥

A lot of these wouldn’t have been down the strip before, everyone has to start somewhere!
