Awesome attention to detail to get the space/gap the same around them doors ,especially the offside , great work 👍🏻

The amount of time gone into them doors is crazy, perfection 👌🏻
@Gavinpinkpaintshop2 жыл бұрын
Yes it takes a lot of time but for me this is just as important as the paint finish it doesn't matter how good the paint is if the prep and Panel gaps are wrong
@Mk2Mitch2 жыл бұрын
@@Gavinpinkpaintshop completly agree mate, I’m a absolute perfectionist! Also didn’t realise how close you are, I’m in SG12 👌🏻

Interesting video Gavin, love the way you go the extra mile to sort out the panel gaps as there are a lot of so called restorers that don't bother as it is a time consuming job. I restored my Mk3 Cortina way back in the late 80's and the panel gaps on those cars were horrendous I think I ended up welding some welding rods to the edge of the doors to build it up 😂👍

Thanks John for me the the panel gaps are very important you can have the best paint in the world but if the gaps are wrong it will never be a good car

@@Gavinpinkpaintshop yeah it can take a right bit of your time away from the job your doing, setting up camera and sound but should work out with the content your putting out.

Hey gav, those skins are bad why didn't you guys just reskin the whole doors, save yourselves some work, top job none the less 👍👍
@Gavinpinkpaintshop2 жыл бұрын
If I'm really honest with you new door skins don't fit as good as these genuine ones you always have to do some fitterling to get the gaps how we like them
