The red paint on the Astra has oxidised so even if you cut it back it will start oxidising again straight away sadly. The only option would be a repaint I think.

i'm definitely old, only 3 out that lot i haven't drove... i had a transit van [with a RS 2000 engine with twin 40s, 10mpg] then a Viva HA van [40mpg], then a Maestro van [50mpg] now a focus estate 55mpg [if you take your time] but you will be glad to know my project has 4WD, 300bhp +32 valves, 5mpg perhaps... keep it up young man

Nice car show, loads of lovely examples of motors from my youth, all in great condition too. I totally forgot about the van shape VW Polo! Man I used to see that as a kid and think it was ugly 😂 But I feel so nostalgic watching this. And the Saxo VTS or VTR, they were everywhere back in the day. Nice one Mitch I do love your videos.

Amazing video. Cheers for sharing mate! I wish that we had a similar festival here in Australia. I find rare & older every-day cars more interesting and exciting than exotics for some reason. It's awesome to be able to check out some cars that were around in your youth and prior, all presented in well-cared for condition along with their back story. I drive a low km Fiesta ST150 (XR4 here). It's my most prized possession. Keep up the great content. It's always a highlight to see one of your videos pop up in my KZbin notifications.
