I ATTEND A OLD SCHOOL FORD SHOW & SPOT RARE CLASSICS!

Welcome back all,
In this video, me and my Dad attend the OLD SCHOOL FORD MEET at Pure Triumph Woburn, for the first time! This is a meet we have been meaning to attend and what a brilliant turnout it was. Jonathan the organiser done a great job organising the meet, along with getting everyone parked up in the busy car park. We were made to feel very welcome and it was great to se some rare classic fords, some of which I have never seen in person before!
Considering the weather was pure sun, we decided to pop along to another local show that was ongoing and only a few miles from the original meet we attended. This show had a wide selection of classics with a few more modern ones too. Based in Flitwick, me and Dad found ourselves browsing and chatting to owners for the rest of the afternoon.
Overall this was a class Sunday and it's always great to be out, driving our Mk2 Fiestas in the sun!

Hi Mitch that Mk1 Ford Granada Perana was built in South Africa. By Basil Green Motors a Ford Dealer located in Edenvale, Johannesburg. He was a successful engine tuner and racer of Ford Vehicles, and also produced the famous V8 Ford Capri Perana. He also did conversions on Cortina's Escort's & the Ford Sapphire.

Mitch… easy to differentiate MK4 & MK5… the MK5 (officially Cortina 80), has the ridged taillights & wraparound front indicators

That MklV Cortina 5:10 was in concours condition. Love that V8 Granada, mint. I’ve seen a V8 Capri for sale on Classic Cars website. Love a Capri, a proper one, not the new piece of $hit that’s on offer. Love your videos Mitch 👌🏻 ❤

That grey mini has a Honda civic. 1.4 engine his son or grandson has a mini Moke. Recently met the owner at another car show, he was so modest and would show and tell you what he had done to the car top bloke. Lovely car in the flesh video doesn’t do it justice.

You lucky having so many shows near to you the first show some really lovely cars not sure about the black bonnet and wings on the Capri 185hp not sure about that sounds like its been on a wheel dyno and they have told him porkies, the MK2 Lotus Cortina in red looked great prefer white with the green stripe but nice and the RS2000 MK1 looked total mint, the other show my car the gold MK2 1600E just needed a roof aerial to set it off but a beautiful car, any way thanks Mitch for all your efforts much appreciated mate

the 100e and anglia are 2 different cars, anglia was harry potter's ride the later minis had to have a front mounted radiator to get though "drive-by-noise" regulations, it used the rad to soak up the noise from the gearbox... [and it got rid of the screaming fan as well]

Mitch the Cortina was a Mk5 not a Mk4 or a Cortina 80 was its official name I seem to remember Great video as always
