Get a burb tune from Stratified, put it in sport and you get insane crackles and bangs! Pair it up with a borla ATAK catback and it is like shotgun blasts. So much fun!

Over time won’t the heat from the exhaust dry out the sticky pad which will fall and dangle? Maybe they should of had a magnetic base to adhere to the chassis. Or maybe a drop of no nails might be more secure than the pad. As to the valve, won’t your plug in confuse the computer if your box is over riding the message it’s receiving to open or close?

Looks like there are some mounting tabs for screws as well. A couple of self tapping screws would make that mount bullet proof.

@Car Focused Now.you have the scorpion you may well be too noisy for a 98 db track day , this valve will help that, which is why I was interested in your vid .

Finally the way the Focus RS's dual mode exhaust SHOULD sound. With the controller in place, can the PCM still control the valve as well?

I do not understand why you can not choose auto mode , just on & off, you will notice quite soon that it is getting pretty on practical... not for me

Thats really not how the valve works mate. The engine ecu can control the valve for various reasons i.e to raise pressure in the exhaust to heat the cat and o2 sensors if requierd. Not just when you floor it etc. It is also completely impossible for the valve to 'forget' to open its ecu controlled, however if the valve is sticking it may take longer to open if that is the case just give it a hit of wd40 and it will free up.

@@CarFocused i agree its annoying on cold start with the volume but for the proper operation onnthe car it needs to work. Will this unit allow you to have normal operation aswell as the override?

@@CarFocused i can promise you that it is very complex in its capabilities. Ask the tuner of your choice about the valve and what the engine management uses it for to confirm if you like
