MK3 Leon - Under seat sub wiring route

Quick video to show the routing for the power and signal cables to wire in an under seat subwoofer in a MK3 Leon. Perm live can be taken from the passenger footwell behind the cover from the main red cable running to the fuse box, Ignition Live/Remote power can be taken from fuse 40 via piggy back fuse connector, The signal wires can be wired into the connector on the rear of the media unit inside the glove box.

Did you get the +12V from a spare fuse in the fuse box begind the glove box? How many A the fuse should be? Thanks

if you're using the stock head unit how are you getting a remote cable and RCA's for the sub? Thanks

RCAs using a line output converter from rear speakers, remote cable wired into the cigarette port 👍🏼

How come you went with installing the sub under the rear of the seat, rather than under the front of the seat?

Lawrie Jordan boom thank you, I’ve had this edge sub sitting in my room for ages so gonna hook it up. The sounds ok but it’s not the loudest would upgrading the speakers do the job or is the amplifier to weak?

@@CraftCastUK I will be looking at upgrading the speaker in my own Leon soon. The amp should hold out for a modest upgrade but if you're going to go next level then it will probably struggle.
