I’m in the middle of modifying the V2 files to give clearance for the servo HPs, PSI, and some mounting points for the panel hinge servo brackets. Might have to pause to see where this goes first

Just discovered this. Very cool innovations happening here! And, may I say, you did an excellent job of anticipating and answering my questions/objections. I suppose we're all very predictable in that sense. :) One thing I find interesting is that you're only recommending a 1.2mm thick outer surface. I have an X1C and am aware of how accurate it can be - but even on that lovely machine, I still do a fair amount of sanding on some of my parts. Especially on the joins - I prefer to print in ABS and solvent weld joins. And of course, on other printers the layer accuracy just isn't there. Do you really find that 1.2mm walls are giving you enough "meat" to sand the parts smooth without breaking through to the infill? I normally do a minimum of 2mm (5 walls on a 0.4mm nozzle), and 2.4mm if I'm worried about structural strength. Of course that last is less of an issue with the dome which is inherently strong due to it's shape and isn't supporting anything except itself.

I just finished painting my V2 dome. I havent done the electrical yet although I have all the parts. I am wondering if I should restart with this one. Reason being even though I glued the crap out of the dome pieces and use washers and bolts it still has seams that crack. I made sure they were filled and spent a ton of time trying to get them without any seamlines but it still cracked just with the temperature changes. This new one looks more sturdy. Are these files available on your patreon?

This is perfect. I just finished my V2 dome from you but this one fixes a lot of issues I had with fitting it together and the seams being rough on the top pie portion. I am going to start over with this one. I am a $1 sub on patron, are these files available or do I need to up to $5? Thanks!!!!

Will the PSI's need to be printed in clear Material so the light will show through?
