The video is great and very helpful but I have one question. How do you put back the clamp on the pipe? Do you use any special tool or just with side pliers?

I did the job today with pair of "Hose Clip Pliers for Clic & Clic R Type Hose Clamps Heavy Duty Clamp CV Tools" www.ebay.co.uk/itm/133091966341 Worked very nicely. I noticed the pipe and the new EGR were not quite aligned but the clamp closed nicely and the engine runs better now and almost no smoke. Again, thanks very much for posting this video which helped me fix my problem!

Thanks for sharing, my other half has one of these, apparently we’ve got an issue with the turbo and egr valve are they both worth replacing? I’ve heard rumours about once they’ve been replaced it can damage the engine ?

Yes you can replace them or have your turbo rebuilt. EGR Valve just replace it

Hi, I'm a 19 year old wanting one of these as my second car, what common problems have you heard of or experienced with them, and are they cheap to run and cheap for parts? I really love this model fiesta and what looks like the st body kits on the diesels are great.

You are correct. This comes with the ST front and rear bumpers. Just not the side skirts. But easy to get. Very cheap to run, insure, tax. They do have common problems but there is a wealth of knowledge on forums and other social media sites to help you through problem solving

Great, thanks for the info, I'm hoping to upgrade from a 2002 Vauxhall Corsa sxi 1.2, good car but having issues with doing motorway miles, you said you can get 72mpg on motorway? Is that just doing 70 through and through?

@@andrewdarbey8361 I get 72mpg on motorway stretches and approximately 55mpg to work and back each day. Its very good on fuel

main issues are injector seals and the egr's, injector seals are a very cheap and easy fix, i just had to do mine today, egr's are also easy as you can see but not on the cheap side, they are not usually a problem if you take good care of the car with regular servicing etc

@@mrkane1897 good to hear, my Corsa has been a pretty reliable car, 02 plate 1200cc and it's only since I've been doing motorway miles that I've had problems, and I've heard nothing but good things about these spec fiestas. Easy to re map too. How much did you pay for your fiesta?

Youll need to either hard reset the car or plug in a diagnostic tool and clear the codes

@@swd6430 a friend managed to get it off in the end, I think he used a screwdriver and got it in underneath. Took him a while though!
