MK6 GTI | Milltek Sport Turbo Back Revs & Fly-By | @gti_gloria

In this video, I demonstrate my current exhaust setup, including a cold start, a warm start, revs, and some fly bys. The exhaust is a Milltek Sport turbo back: 3-inch catted downpipe to 2.75-inch non-resonated catback. I shot this video because there aren't many existing ones that show this particular exhaust. I hope it's helpful!

Hi man im thinking of buying the exact same exhaust system. its sounds nice. Do you know what i could do if i wanted it to roar just a little bit more(perhaps a akrapovic downpipe)?Maybe you could drive it back and forth in a different setting to show how it sounds in different environments since that drive-by setting with wind and open space probably soaked alot of the sound. That would be awesome. Thanks for uploading this video nonetheless!

Hi Alex! If you're going for more noise, I recommend going with a catless downpipe. Subsequent to filming this video, I've removed my cat, and I like how it sounds.

Did you ever put the decat on with the 2.75" catback? I have the exact same exhaust setup that I purchased thanks to this video and would be interested to see what it sounds like with a decat

I did not, but I imagine it would sound very similar to my current setup with the Beluga Racing catback. More volume, a little more rasp, but not crazy loud.

I noticed your tail lights flickered at start up. My fog lights do the same. Anyone know why they do that?

LED’s do that on camera I think

@@alexadelaide true. But in this case I can see my led fog lights and my led tail lights flicker when I start up my car. Weird.

Good question. I think it has to do with the lower resistance of the lights on the electrical system. Mine flash when I start the car and then behave normally.

I believe it was about $2k all-in for the system. Ordered it from ECS Tuning. It’s not obnoxiously loud! I think you’ll be safe from upsetting your neighbors.

Hi, could really do with some help PLEASE I have brought the exact same exhaust set up as in this video and installed it on the car but don't yet have the car remapped. I am getting a horrible chirping noise when driving which changes with the speed I am going did you experience anything like this when you had this exhaust set up from new any advice would be appreciated thanks

I have been advised it is due to needing a remap as have already had a replacement downpipe sent out thinking the downpipe was faulty but the noise is still there it is ever since fitting the downpipe

I’m using a Thule AeroBlade Edge rack and a roof box from Thule that is no longer in production. I believe it’s equivalent to the Pulse L.

At 3:51 I heard a whistling noise. Is that normal? Is that the sound of the turbo and nothing to worry about? I have the exact same whistling sound on my MK6 GTI even after changing the four o-rings for the intercooler piping and changed to latest version diverter valve 06H145710J.

yea idk I noticed i had that whistle when I got an intake and cat back. I haven't had any issues I just deal with it.

@@CC-uh8gl I had the same whistle issue. I decided to get the Go Fast Bits Diverter Valve plus. Just because the quality of the parts is much more premium. It’s a good price too and haven’t had that issue since
