@@dumbeezy5480 The AWD on the R is pretty good! Its FWD bias so it only kicks in when wheels spin and its pretty damn quick! launching is just Pure Rush!

@@IsaakMK7 i had my mechanic thats worked on vw for many years do it as i also had the Intercooler and HPFP to install. Its not that hard to do but my health made me bring it to my mechanic to do it. make sure to get a is38 turbo install kit as it does not comes with the turbo. it gives gaskets, bolts and a few other nessary stuff.

I had that setup on my S3. My car had issues with the turbo and tune. I had a bad turbo come in from IE. They do warranty the turbo so it had to get done through Garrett. IE wasn't finished with their tune at the time. It was still a few weeks out. So the had flashed a Beta file to get the car going and on the road. They released the tune reflashed my car and the actuator kept sticking on the turbo and would send the car into limp mode. Now I'm running APR DTR6054 turbo kit. Still thinking about going back to the GT2260S turbo.

@@cademcgilton7384 I'm not sure about now. I can't say. I had it when it was released. But I can say the GT2260S has a little bit faster spool than the DTR6054 turbo kit.

Was just going to ask him this. I'm currently running IE's flex fuel on and is38 and I love it. Definitely thinking about the GT2260 though since I'd like a little more in the top end(6k+ rpm)

@@pierrequick2987 are you tuned with IE? Right now I’m stage 2 with IE and I’m soon getting the trueflex sensor and auto tech internals to run E85. But I saw on IE’s website that stage 2 with trueflex is 394hp whereas is38 trueflex is 409. I mean really only 15 more hp with a bigger turbo? Something doesn’t seem right. Is it even worth going is38 for 15 more hp?

@@nathanelliott6770 yea I'm currently with IE. I couldn't tell you the difference between their is20 tune and their is38 because I had a unitronic tune before them. When I went with the is38 with unitronic I was really disappointed. But switching to the IE tune was a night and day difference. The boost just comes on so much quicker and theres so much more torque.

@@nathanelliott6770 no idea but I think it depends on your style of driving. The is20 was great down low in the rpms but it really kinda dies in the upper range. If you like to rev the motor out to 7k rpm like I do then its absolutely worth it in my opinion. Although you may just want to skip the is38 at that point and just go straight for the Garrett turbo.

If you still haven't stripped the interior for weight then I reckon your around the 400 to 420bhp timing your 60 to 130 times.

Im puzzeld. Your 60-100 time is pretty much what my car is pulling minus .3 .5 sec. Im stock is20 stage 2 uni 93 tune downpipe. Stock intercooler stock clutch and has 200,000,km on the dash. Crazy huh. I have lightweight wheels and no rear seats /spare tire.

I was doing fine till I got crank walk but that was due to the motor being from a salvage yard but if your auto u should be good and if your manual u should check if your crank has any play

I have a hpa hpfp I had the auto tech internals and they didn’t work for me it kept seizing so I went with hpa but that’s my experience I’ve heard other people had no issues I think it’s luck of the draw
