Only thing you’ll miss from gto is the v8 sound, low end torque and rwd other then that a gti with the proper mods will beat any of these cars quick and with ease.

TPC20 ftw!!!! Look at it pull on the EQT XL down low! Sorry, but TPC20 is better IMO. I won’t be going over 100mph everywhere I go, so the TPC20 is the more streetable turbo for sure.

Rx500 is another very street friendly hybrid. Will see what it makes next week when I get tuned, on a base map for now but even on the base map it’s fun to drive daily. Don’t regret upgrading from my is38

DSG gearing wouldnt help. ive pulled just about every DSG car ive raced. Faster transmission doesnt always mean faster.

@@mattsmith7379 its not about shifting, its gearing. mk7 gti manual gearing is far better than gti DSG gearing. If we were talking about golf r's i would say DSG is faster because the R manual gearing isnt much different than the DSG. It doesnt matter how fast a DSG can shift, if that DSG car falls out of power due to a shift and a manual car can rev just that little longer, the manual Will pull ahead.

@@Lazerironman Radials were daily tires. never had issues with them. only fault was on me, ran the tire pressure to low to often (18) and it debeaded on the highway after a bump.

Did that thing peak at 37 psi at one point I couldn’t tell in the video but either way my gli peaks at around 29 and this thing is hitting 35+ no problem might have to go with that sneekytuned sauce soon

@@killer_vette351 believe me bro I had one and my engine blew up with stage 1 310hp racingline tune after hard acceleration. the dealer always recommend minimum to upgrade some parts with tune like intercooler.. downpipe.. intake and keep the torque under 4.5

@@ALI-FILALI that’s a terrible tune then. Plus every platform will have a few cars that blow up. It’s normal. I know tons of guys that are 500+whp with the tq below 450 and have 0 issues. And they beat on it and race every weekend. I had a gti. Was stage 2 and on E85 , not a single issue with it for a whole year and I raced every weekend as well. Beat the shit out of the car and it never gave me any problems
