So, HOW did you make 500bhp with a TCP 20? Did you do a log and the wheel spin showed you some "spike"? Frankly, it's not happening on the cheap like this set-up OR with the Turbo. Have fun hoonin' around.
@SportyMk73 жыл бұрын
Lets answer your questions. HOW? TPC20 uses the oem is20 housing with TD06 20G internals which is a 52mm Comp and 54mm turbine wheel. My setup may be what most people consider budget but in my eyes, all I did was not buy the things I dont NEED to make power. If you have any other questions feel free to comment id love to shut them down. Now lets calculate Drivetrain loss. what's 463whp times 10%? 46.3. now since we just took wheel horsepower and figured out how much was lost due to the drivetrain. we add 46.3 to 463 and we get? 509. with the magical number that we just came up with is what most people call BHP or Crank HP. Dyno graph is on my Instagram link below. Since we have dyno'd the car, it is making around 500whp now a days and ill be going to the dyno again to prove that to people like you. instagram.com/p/CAQb4b1nlLJ/?

Nice build mate but have one question do you worry for crank walk issue mostly i heard people having dkm stge 2 clutchs facing this even southbend clutches.. what do you have to say about that?
@SportyMk74 жыл бұрын
haven’t worried about it, most of the time it happens is when the clutch is pushed in for long amounts of time at idle. (usually at a stop light) oil pressure is the lowest point and the clutch weight drags on the crank.
@MMSstation934 жыл бұрын
@@SportyMk7 That's good to know really ddnt know it before.. thankx and keep up the good work bro!
@exothermal.sprocket2 ай бұрын
True. Lateral pressure on the crank only occurs with the clutch pedal depressed. If your clutch is upgraded and capable of greater clamping force, your clutch will have to overcome that force to disconnect from flywheel, resulting in greater lateral pressure on the crank. I've made it a driving habit to have the clutch released at all practical times, such as when I know I'm going to have to wait a little bit at a stop. I don't just sit there with the clutch down, wearing out parts. For example, if I'm rolling up to a light that just yellowed, I'm stopping, I know I'll have to wait a few minutes before green, I'll downshift a couple gears and then pop to neutral and release clutch, rolling to a stop with brake. It's called paying attention and not fiddling with a phone or some other distraction. You can anticipate light cycles and put it in gear and be ready to go within a few seconds. I figure for 100k miles or more, this habit will have reduced clutch actuation wear significantly.
@cj687764 жыл бұрын
Hey bro I’m stuck between SB stage 2 daily or the stage 2 DKM. Is there anything you dislike about the DKM clutch? I’ve only heard complaints about loud clutch chatter from it. How’s your experience with it and would you recommend it for daily driving?
@SportyMk74 жыл бұрын
if you have music going, you do not hear the chatter. its also inconsistent after breaking the clutch in. I have no issues with it as a daily, since this car IS my daily. also holds 460wtq so youll be right on the torque limit for not only your clutch but your motor as well.
