Once thing to mention is to do an ops check before reinstalling the mirror cap. Nothing like doing stuff twice that could be avoided the first time.

Optional method: If you trust yourself to take the mirror out entirely without breaking it there is an easier way to do this. Once you remove the mirror there are two T10 screws behind it close to the bottom that secure the bottom section of the mirror cap (the matte black part). Take those out and removing the signal light becomes far far easier and you wont risk damaging your old ones so you can either sell them or keep them as spare parts.

hello buddy, I had a cracked mirror cap but its not the upper cap, its the lower cap. The question is can I change the lower cap without removing the door panel , because lower cap holds the mirror mail neck from its neck hole.

Do the wires that control the heated mirror function need to be in a specific order? I'm seeing blue on the outside and red on the inside for the driver's side mirror, but unfortunately I didn't pay attention when I did the passenger's side mirror first. Is there a specific pattern that these both follow?

Hey DAP I have a 2015 b7 passat and bought some sequential turn signals just like the ones for the gti in the video. Would the process be the same or would it be a little different? I can't find anyone who has made a video on it

Please ask them to alter the design so you don't lose the light on driver facing side. If they do that I will buy them.

These are great...but only at night. You can hardly see them on a cloudy day & they're near impossible to see on a sunny day, especially through sunglasses. What doesn't help is the tinted plastic covering the LEDs. Form over function unfortunately. I'll be replacing them soon hopefully...
