National Night Out Cookout, Oella, Maryland
On Tuesday, August 1st, 2023 the Baltimore County Police Department Precinct 1/wilkens and Baltimore County Fire Department participated in the 40th year of National Night Out. This annual community-building event promotes community partnerships and provides an opportunity for neighbors and members of law enforcement and other first responders to come together.
Over 100 local residents and their friends joined this celebration of community and of those who put their lives on the line to protect them.
What is GOCA?
The Greater Oella Community Association (GOCA) is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1973. The association’s mission is to promote the interests of the Oella community and to preserve its historic character. GOCA does this through a variety of activities, including organizing community events, advocating for the interests of the community, and working to preserve the historic character of the community.
GOCA is a member-based organization that is a vital part of the Oella community. The association works to improve the quality of life for the residents of Oella and to preserve the community’s historic character. The association is a great resource for information about Oella and for getting involved in the community.. Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, or owns property in the Oella community. GOCA’s board of directors is elected by the membership.
