Thank you, Jefferson, for 10 incredible years. The experience wouldn't have been the same without you!

WELP this is the coolest shit ever. Thanks Devo, great idea. This is one of those small things that makes UM the powerhouse of a band that they are. The coordination between Waful and the band makes for some of the coolest shit I have ever seen.

I'd argue and say this is a HUGE part of what makes UM live shows the bar that everyone is chasing.

"5:00" How is the color change done?
@carterdave3 жыл бұрын
It took me a long time to figure out what this was called and how to do it. It’s called a “wipe.” On an Oynx console you would record a color change and add a delay of maybe one second. Press delay then a syntax something like 0-1. The delay time in changing to the new color is fanned across the fixtures in the order they were selected from a time of zero sec to one sec. Then when you save that preset you include “time” in the saved attributes. Super sweet effect. You can also include a fade time so that they fade across instead of snapping. To go from right to left you just select the fixtures from last to first.

Don't know if I've ever seen someone with such a great rig and console at their disposal and still be able to make the show look like it's run by a 14 year old DJ.
@Mm-vr8ss Жыл бұрын
What are you talking about? This guys is #2 goat right behind ck5. It’s so elegant unlike a “14 year old dj”. Your comment is ironically very immature. This guy is a true professional and you couldn’t do anything remotely close.

This guy is a pretty boring lighting designer
@christopherjamessimmons3781 Жыл бұрын
This lighting operator is right out of timing with the music .. Its a shame because hes got some good scenes he just needs some one too show him how a lighting rig really should look with mood lighting and his changes at that level .. I spent many years lighting bands like David Bowie ,Madness , Ice House and Midnight oil .. Showco put out the Vari*Lite and we took ithem on tour with David Bowies Serious Moonlight Tour in 1983 .... Chris Simmons Showo / Jands Concert Productions .. Getting the light right was very important on a big tour ..
