It's finally been done! I am so blown away by this run, the PRB at the beginning was inhuman and my jaw dropped when you kept PRB even after the sand cut. Driving this track on Standard Rob has got to be one of the most challenging feats this game has to offer, extremely impressive run! Not sure if you wanna improve this but congratulations on such a strong record!

you need a looser grip on the console, try not to keep your thumb vertically but horizontally on the d-pad, that helped me a lot

Yeah, the lighter the character is, the faster it drives offroad. That's why drybones is always picked on offroad tracks, but any character can be used on non-offroad tracks, or runs with PRB or any other run that doesn't involve any offroad in the run.

3x mushroom karts are way too slow.

Banisher is the only kart with 3 mushroom cards that can perform PRB, but this is the kart with the slowest top speed in Mario Kart DS. Even if you cut the hill three times, the result would be obvious.
