While the video is cool and all, I’d like to critique the editing. By making all the laps seamlessly connected, it leads to some confusion when a lap begins in an unorthodox way, such as for Coconut Mall, Grumble Volcano or DK Jungle Parkway. For instance, seeing a Peach Beach lap start down on the Beach just makes me wonder how that happened. I would’ve personally preferred at least some context for clips like that, showing a bit of the set-up required to start a lap like that. Still, I understand why you edited it the way that you did

Each character has hidden stats that get added to the vehicle’s stats. Funky Kong and Daisy have the highest speed stat so everyone uses them

Dry dry desert (edit: my bad, it's desert hills) really surprised me, is it really faster to use the second shroom right after the lake cut or was it because he would've landed in the dirt otherwise? I always thought that cutting the very last little strip of sand at the end of the lap would be faster

The Dry Dry Ruins "Ultra" is just a big offroad cut you can take by using the coping of the ending shortcut you mentioned to shoot up top on the right. The Fast lap version requires two mushrooms. The first mushroom is used in line with the start line and the second is to get out of the sand. Then that cacti shortcut after is the next biggest mushroom time save because Justin gets so much air at the end to make the ending cut shroomless anyway. 🤯

@@khirek5335 don't worry sth similar happens between all these tracks in the Spanish European version (yep I'm Spanish) Dry Dry Desert and Dry Dry Ruins are called "Desierto Seco Seco" and "Ruinas Seco Seco" both of them are correct translations and mean the same thing in both languages However Desert Hills is somehow called "Desierto Sol Sol" which actually should mean Sun Sun Desert a correct translation would be sth like "Colinas Desérticas" Also aesthetics of all these tracks don't help they seem pretty similar between them lmao

In moon view highway on the second lap, when I raced, that blue truck finished making that blind turn near the bridge. Btw, I completed moon view highway in less than 2 minutes in a honeycoupe! I also did ghost valley in just 59.7 seconds (less than a minute) in the honeycoupe! Ngl, the fast staffer in moon view highway is pathetic. They did it in 2:04, but I can easily do it in just 2 minutes.

The goal is to go as fast as possible by any means (except for modifying the game files) means all glitches are allowed. There's also non glitch world records if you really care.
