Was just watching this interview, Mkhulu Makhene thank you for sharing your life with us. David thank you for these sessions, I started watching the interview ya Tshepo Maseko, must say powerful session and there after I have been hooked and subscribed 😀. We are not born for ourselves but for those around us. We are servants of the human kind therefore it is a great quality to be helping others succeed more than you. So Mkhulu thank you for the lives you are uplifting and growing. May God continue to bless you in your journey on this earth. And thank you for celebrating your Father on this platform, because we tend to bash our absent fathers and due to that we are stuck in the past and struggle to heal. Thank you Mkhulu. King David thank you for these sessions, I am learning a lot from these people's "virtual biographies". Legendary indeed

@lekis5975
@lekis5975 2 жыл бұрын
Brenda was an anomaly for a Scorpio. On the one hand she was quite the performer; the list of Scorpio actors and actresses both local and international is long and endless from MaBrrr to MacG, Unathi (Msengwanye), to Ryan Gosling. That said, most Scorpios are very reserved and calm (unlike MaBrrr) and super intelligent- think Ramaphosa, Hilary Clinton, the late President Mwai Kibaki (Kenya). They are NOTORIOUS 'fence sitters', cause you never know what they are thinking. Also, they always strive for success; the two most successful people in my family are Scorpios. It's easy to mistake the reserve for confidence, but I'm beginning to realise they are super sensitive. MaBrrr was super sensitive, but people failed to see her sensitive side, as evidenced by the snarky comments about her looks (she had a banging body, but the face? Not so much, and people were quick to tell her). The snide comments hurt her feelings, but she tried to hide her hurt by being loud. In another interview, she talked about how, one day after she started performing, she took her earnings home (it was a lot of money). Her mother beat her black and blue thinking she had stolen the money. She was so hurt by that incident, she never forgot. MaBrrr was very sensitive, but she hid her sensitivity behind a brash exterior, Shem!

@Nonhlala Radebe Kanye West named and shamed them so they went on the attack and launched a campaign to get him cancelled. We stay gossiping about it, but we haven't unpacked the socio- economic political implications of what Kanye was saying. These people ripped off Mam Miriam Makeba, Nina Simone, Solomon Linda, Dorothy Masuka, Louis Armstrong. They are so well connected, theyre the ones who sent Paul Simon in 1987, he's one of them. They pay their own well and rip off ours!

Khanye West talked about those people and has gotten cancelled. They control the music industry and stay fleecing talented Black people. They've done in America, South Africa (they are the ones who sent Paul Simon, he's one of them). They re now in Nigeria and Kenya controlling the music industry.

@@nokuthulamakgotsodlamini2183 Music is sacred, it's one of the most powerful mediums created by God. In the past it wasn't commercialised, musicians were looked after by rich patrons. Now? These people commercialized it, they act like gatekeepers, they elected to promote gangster rap and not conscious rap, using it to destroy the image of Black people. And of course there's the exploitation of the musicians in America they own the labels, the radio stations; they control the radio DJs play list, they own the performance venues, they control the song writing process (musicians can't write their own songs, songwriters are put in groups and paid a pittance for their intellectual property rights...only a complete revolution, the creation of a new system can change things around. Sadly some Black people in SA have copied the paradigm they are now exploiting other Black people SMDH!
