Vice City has the best facial expressions out of the trilogy remaster

The reason for that is because games back then didn't have technology or polygons enough for facial expressions, so they used more body language to express the characters feelings , you can easily notice how the current facial expressions don't match the body language Look at it yourself at 4:10 Tommy pointing fingers and moving his arms as if he's about to get the lion out of the cage to find solution to the problems, but his facial expression are either mild or not close to the aggressive line he's saying.

I like to think Sonny set up the ambush. Why? Because he already didn't want Tommy around anymore and at the 4:26 mark you can see coke and money on the table. It would make sense if Sonny paid out-of-town shooters to ambush the meet (which was set up away from the usual thugs according the Paul Rosenberg) and then end up with the drugs, the money AND be rid of Tommy. I wouldn't be surprised considering the reason Tommy went to prison is because Sonny sent Tommy to an ambush 15 years ago and dispite it all, he killed the shooters and survived to end up in prison.
