Og Hanzo was something else, he managed to move on from his grief and vengeance and found his redemption in Kuai Liang. It was truly a beautiful arc. All told in walls of text. Excellent character. NRS stripped Hanzo of his complexities and compassion and made him an angry man-child. They never did Hanzo justice.

Half of it being just straight-up cheating on the A.I.'s behalf because you couldn't throw them and they could duck your uppercut and do their own uppercut, which you couldn't duck. Shang Tsung though, in the first game, was honestly not that difficult. Sure, you'd probably lose once or twice because you wouldn't anticipate him morphing the first time, but Shao Kahn's moves were all faster and would take out like a quarter of your health in one hit. Jump-kicking was also way less safe with him, he could punish that shit so bad.

In Deadly alliance they're using actual styles. For example, hapkido and tang su do. I took both styles and some of the moves represented in the game were actual moves we learned in class. After scorpion wins when he puts both his fists straight down in front of him, that's called ready stance and is the stem of all moves in hapkido. Just thought it was cool to see stuff I learned for 8 years in a video game.

Scorpion always been my favorite MK character. Hell I voted for Scorpion vs Wolf on Death Battle's Tournament of Champions. Sadly, it's not losing but I'm staying loyal to the end!!!

I like the older iteration of Scorpion. He's vengeful enough to kill his families murderer, but honourable enough to take accountability for the brother of his families murderer and even vows to act as his guardian. Don't get me wrong, I like modern Scorpion, but I kind of wish they explored this iteration of Scorpion in MK1 (The new one) if at all possible.
