For those of you who don't know, Leo was high during this tournament. He's still on painkillers because of his ear, so you can see him giggling between sets. That may have also motivated him to go Marth. Edit: Jdizzle confirmed it himself.

Pretty sure he's only dropping because of Marth being a floaty. Seems to me that Marth is falling slower than byleth and that's why he drops when it matters most. And because Marth falls slower, Leo gets just enough time recover.
