I disagree. Luigi does have solid reversal options, but any good player can use a long lasting or sweeping aerial to entirely stop him from getting to the ledge. As long as u avoid the 1 in 10 misfire, the moment he's sent offstage he will almost certainly die. Good video tho, I like ur content.

Only two things need to be said about this. I agree Bayonetta is good, I think should not be good though. Mid at best, her playstyle/kit is annoying to deal eith because it is everything I hate about tranditional fighting games. Combos you can't escape, movement is limited cause burst options and now you are restricted on what you can do because of a certain move being to strong to risk. In this case it is her side B, you can almost never be in the air with bayo brcause of how much that move does but to be fair it is the only thing that makes thjs character so great cause it leads to her amazing aireals. She is the opposite of Little Mac, instead king of the ground you are queen of the air. Lastly Fox I do think is good but I don't think he deserves to be this high up. The character is in a weird spot where he has everything he needs to be amazing and is when you know the opponenet very well. This is the reason why someone like Light struggles against opponents he doesn't play against often. The problems we face with Fox stems from his frame data, not on what is true but what leads to frame traps. When you are frame trapped and the fox player is aware with what options you usually pick then they can go for harder hits or more insane followups like landing up air to lead to kills as early as 30 percent in the right conditions. Lastly for reaction being something you need, I don't think it is as important as people say. You can get good milage from it but you make one mostake with fox or didn't react in time and you can die for how light he is, or you get out in disadvantage but you should be dying offstage against a good oppnent everytime. If you react to tech chases percectly and do a smash attacks rhey are great but like anyone else smash attacks are eay more rewarding when you charge it for a bit. If you go for a read you can kill so much earlier and fox is an explosive character anyway you die off of most characters stray/combo finishers, but you can do the same back to them so go for the big reads ehen you understand your opponent well. TLDR; Bayo is good and will get better overtime so she deserves top 10. Fox I somewhat disagree but he is close to it. It has more to do with how confident you are sgainst your opponent then character matchups.

Tldr; everyone sucks in brawl except for metaknight

among other issues, i feel like the uair/dair rng is BAD. ofc 1 is bad and 3 is great, but i feel like 2 turnips should be at least somewhat desirable in order to make the move feel worthwhile as a move you can throw out... so why does it also feel bad with 2? and with both up AND down air being rng, it leaves both directions feeling a bit wimpy and unreliable on a character who doesn't have a lot of reliable close range aerial options (remembering both fair and bair are *also* essentially the same move). combine that with small and sluggish close range ground options and you get this character who NEEDS intense zoning just to stay afloat, while noting that their most dependable zoning tools mostly deal peanuts in damage. maybe the character as they are now makes sense in older smash games, but when you look at the strengths vs weaknesses and compare them to other characters IN THE SAME GAME, it's clear that Villager is operating at a solid disadvantage.

You should compare Mario and Luigi in the other four games too. Luigi's famously good punish game in Ultimate was wildly even better in Smash 4.
